FUN FACT The line "A life where not even a spider's thread hangs" at 1:14 is a reference to a Japanese folklore. (I am not Japanese tho so if i get wrong sorry) The folklore is about a criminal that was sent to hell after his death, but before he died he helped a little spider that was on a leaf get to safety. And because of that, the spider sent down a thread to him to help get out as a last chance at redemption. But as the guy starts to climb up the thread other sinners also do so, and as the selfish person this guy is he starts to kick them down. Because of his act of selfishness the thread breaks and he goes back down to hell. So I think that line is basically saying both of them (the boy and Maia) will live together in the deepest part of hell where there is no chance of redemption. But I think it is a way to torment Maia because of the line "I offer it to Maia as punishment" at 1:10. So in the end, the boy wants total control over her, and she can't leave.

Honestly, this music video, the sequel to Loveit?, mostly changed my perception of the story. MOSTLY. My view on this used to be that Maia distorted the boy’s perspective of love with her own twisted delusions, and after he killed her to survive, he either ate her remains or sold her body parts to make a living. But now it seems like he was the mastermind behind it all in this music video, and he was the one using Maia. I think that he actually had a MORE distorted view on love than her, and SHE was HIS puppet to begin with. She became infatuated with him, and he took advantage of that, eventually killing her then most likely killed himself so they could be in Hell together forever. The cross on his neck at the end of the first music video could be giving a hint at his suicide. He started talking to that other girl (Abbey) for a bit and Maia got insanely jealous (his plan was to make her envy Abbey and become more attached to him), killing Abbey and feeding her meat to him. He seemed disgusted in the first music video and tried throwing it up, but now I think he was more disgusted at the fact he had eaten the meat of someone who was interested in him, a person who was also not Maia. He was devoted to her disturbing love and loyal to her only.

By rewatching and reinterpreting both songs of Biz "loveit?" And "love eat dear maia". My own twisted interpretation is that: "Love It?" is the first song released and represents the girl's perspective and her delusions. The question mark in the title suggests uncertainty about whether she had the upper hand or was merely a puppet for the boy. She was blinded by her love for him, perceiving things in her own way. However, when the boy stabs her at the end, she realizes she was just a puppet and a clown for him. "Love Eat Dear Maia" is the second song released, representing the boy's perspective and the truth of what happened. Hence, there is no question mark in the title. The boy is the mastermind behind everything, fooling the girl into becoming his puppet. He manipulates her into thinking she is in control, using her love and jealousy to his advantage. The boy's concept of love is twisted, and he wants Maia to become obsessive and possessive to feel loved by her. The lyrics referring to "fake love" imply that the other girls he was involved with were just to catch the attention of Maia. In the first video, the boy appears terrified and vomits after eating human meat, which Maia forced him to do. However, the actual reason was he was disgusted because it's other girls and his loyalty is solely for Maia. He reaches his limit when Maia pushes him too far, leading him to decide to kill her and himself. This is symbolized by the boy stabbing Maia and the boy having an "x" on his throat, suggesting suicide. The brains at the end of the video represent their deaths, with the bigger brain representing the mastermind (the boy) and the smaller brain representing the puppet (Maia). The line "To a deeper and deeper place, a life where not even a spider's thread hangs" could mean that they are both confined in the deepest depths of hell forever, without any hope of redemption. The boy desires this outcome, as it would ensure that they remain together for eternity.

This is another level of yandere x yandere I love this so much
Oh this explains a lot. Anyone remember what the opening scene and line of Loveit? was? "I won't forgive you" and a missing person's poster for an Abbey Bailey. Abbey wears her hair in a braided bun, and is the one sitting across from MC here during the "holy love" line. Maia murdered and ate Abbey, possibly because Maia's yandere for MC, and MC was in love with Abbey. "A life where not even a spider's thread hangs" -> Life is hell, because the person he loved most is dead. MC's only goal now, is revenge. So MC sold himself to get near Maia, knowing that she was obsessed with him and would purchase him, allowing him to get close to her. It works. He allows Maia to have her way with him for a time, feeling its his penance for getting Abbey killed, and then ultimately murders Maia in turn. His sole reason for continuing to live now finished, he marks an X on his throat, denoting that he's now only an empty shell, good for meat. "Goodbye, Maia. Dedicated, to My Love."

Love it?の続編なのシンプルやばすぎる 所々のリズムだったり歌詞だったりでLove it?を感じれるの最高すぎ
I see some people thinking that the boy was the mastermind all along, but I don’t think so: This song seems to be the boy navigating his confusing web of emotions, brought about by the girl’s (who’s name is revealed to be Maia) abuse and him subsequently killing her in return. It’s a catastrophic mixture of disgust towards her love, guilt over killing her, mania towards the entire situation, and complete grief over losing her to begin with, even though she was an abusive psychopath who deserved to be butchered like how she butchered others. Basically, “Loveit?” Is about the abuser’s perspective as she breaks down her victim before being killed in return; and “love eat” is about the victim’s mindset after escaping her abuse, showing the deep-seated pain and suffering that he has, scarring his heart.
@actualfkingvoid Жыл бұрын
Hello, thank god for this comment. I felt like the other english theories were reaching, even if the theory itself presented a fun premise (yan4yan situation). Kujina (the boy) never came off as particularly sinister or anything, so I find it hard to believe that he's a plotting mastermind behind everything-the guy just looks horribly traumatized in the last song, and in this one he clearly is struggling through some issues because of the abuse he experienced previously, both psychological and emotional, in the hands of Maia. And despite the confusing English translation, "Goodbye Maia" is a bizarre lyric to tack on at the end if the aim of the song is to show that Kujina concocted a plan to... what? Make Maia jealous for her to kill Abbey and for him to kill her and eventually kill himself?? So they could stay in hell together? That's just a little goofy I believe.
@Welcometotheslam5424 Жыл бұрын
@@actualfkingvoid I honestly think the ‘staying in hell together’ part of the song is more so about Kujina feeling responsible for ‘allowing’ Maia to butcher so many innocents, especially Abbey. Thus, he believes that he’s destined for the same pit of hell as Maia is in, even though in reality, he would probably go to Heaven for not only being an innocent victim, but actively killing Maia and potentially putting her monstrous cannibalism ring to an end, ensuring that nobody else will fall prey to her.
@ondiiina Жыл бұрын
The chorus also clearly says that he's punishing Maia. "Aah it hurts [...] God's mischief; I offer it to Maia as punishment". Whatever he offers could also be the toxic and clearly terrible "love" she has given him/that he describes. This is clearly not something positive or good that he's "giving" or doing. It's punishment. Sure the part about the sizes of the brains and the ominous look at him and the cross on his neck in the previous song are odd and definitely important, but I think it means that it's a mix of both theories. His behavior seems to be unhealthy coping, trying to survive. Maybe he did end up "loving" her in the way popularly theorized but instead of being the case from the beginning, it's more of Stockholm Syndrome and his mind breaking. There's a part of him that hates her, disgust, but another that loves her, adoration. Maybe he did end up manipulating her to get more of it in a sick and twisted way. She pushed him over the edge and he ended up craving her pseudo-love. Maybe he does end up killing himself after all the trauma and fucked up emotions he has. That cross means something and I wouldn't be surprised if after getting so messed up, he'd give up on life or delude himself into "joining" her. You're the most right I think. Making him out to be the mastermind feels like a reach, especially with the lyrics in this song. I think the two songs explore that dynamic, including the effects and consequences of that kind of "love"!

I genuinely believe he loves her or at least believe he loves her to some extent like the heart in his left eye being the one that she eats, calling her "dear" and all... There's defo more but I'm too lazy to recheck

Ok, so I’m assuming after his time with maia instead of trying to escape, as what I have previously assumed, his sense of love was warped, I’m basing this off of the “love is pain?” Line, so instead of stabbing her to escape he stabbed her to show his now twisted sense of love, and because of the severity of that sort of betrayal, I think it shows just how much he ended up loving her

0:48 -Abbey said "this maze is psych illusion" abbey may be the missing 25 year old woman, Abbie Bailey. from loveit? mv; when that part came up, maybe she knew about Maia's manipulative personality and went missing?
Here's my theory after the premiere. Sorry if it's short and inaccurate I'll probably revise it once I think about it more deeply. I think this confirms that Kujima didn't stab Maia in order to escape; Rather, he stabbed and killed her in order to show his love by granting her the most pain he could, the pain of getting stabbed in the back, idiomatically and literally. I believe he has a love-hate kind of relationship with her? Or perhaps he indulges in the love that he acknowledges is fake. Another note: "Love where not even a spider's thread hangs" could be referring to a popular story where a sinner is sent to Hell but is given a spider's thread to escape as a prize for not killing a spider while he was still alive.
@dootdoot3065 Жыл бұрын
That's an interesting theory! I knew about the spider thread story but I didn't make the connection, good catch! Personally, I think this is more of a revenge story, where he's essentially mocking Maia by calling her "my love" and using her twisted love language against her. I think that's the case because he looked absolutely terrified throughout the whole cannibalism ordeal and only showed affection near the end, right before he stabs her. This is just my theory though. Thanks for sharing yours! Hope you don't mind me dumping my own in your replies.
@AoiOrohime Жыл бұрын
That was actually what I was thinking but given the scene with the photo frame flashed in the end part of 'Loveit' showing them both looking younger, it was highly likely their relationship was deeper than what we saw in 'Loveit' where they met in a club/party. Though of course, I'm not sure about it. Instead of just killing her, I think he ate her as like a reciprocation of the twisted love between them because of the X sign we saw on his throat. PS: happy to see someone who recognized the subtle reference towards the Spider Thread Story
@dootdoot3065 Жыл бұрын
You bring up a good point with the picture at the end of loveit. That got me thinking: what if Abbey, instead of just warning him about that place in general, was also warning him about Maia? Maybe he hadn't seen Maia in a while and wanted to see her for old times' sake and ignored Abbey's advice (also, maybe Maya saw this interaction from afar and thought he was flirting with Abbey, when that wasn't the case after all). It could be why he had that mark on his eye. Instead of being a regular costumer, he meant to pretend he was selling his right eye to attract attention and find Maya. However, when he did find her, he thought something was off (hence the uninterested look he gave Maya). Nevertheless, he followed her and loveit shenanigans ensue. The confusing part is, why was he so terrified if he knew that place sold human body parts? I can think of two possibilities: a) although he knew they sold body parts, he didn't think it would be used for actual cannibalism/thought people only sold their body parts willingly; or b) he was fully aware, but he only realized how heinous it was once it happened to him.
