That was true until Santana released their most recent album in 2021. There's a song called "Move" which features Rob Thomas as well as American Authors. The album also has a version of "Whiter Shade of Pale" featuring Steve Winwood and There's a track called "Joy" with Chris Stapleton as well as a few other artist collaborations with Santana on some of the other tracks.

I was literally driving down the road when I heard the 1st w lines of "push" and waited for the song to end to see if they said who it was and immediately went and bought record on my way home. I was 23 when when they came out. Matchbox 20 is Literally the soundtrack of my life. My 13 yrs old niece has been to 2 shows with me and she's a huge fan.
