"Love Hurts" which was written by Boudleaux Bryant was first recorded by the Everly Brothers in July 1960, the song is most well known from the 1974 international hit version by Scottish hard rock band Nazareth.

🇨🇦 What an excellent rendition Emily !! That was probably the most famous slow song when my wife & I started going out in 1976. You're sparking some very good memories ! I wore out my Nazareth "Hair of the Dog" 8-track tape from playing "Love Hurts" over and over.
