I just found your channel today and I am very happy I did. I've been watching the older videos and this one ... OMGoodness, this one! The passion and emotion pours from you in such a strong way. I cry at the drop of a hat so I had to take WAY too many deep breaths to keep from full on sobbing while you shared this amazing story. The wrap is gorgeous! I've almost sworn off wraps/shawls, but I like the different stitch sections on that one. I also love to knit sweaters, but I learned to knit so I could make socks. Now I have more socks than I will ever wear out and am enjoying simple sweaters. Cables intimidate me but I want so badly to knit a cabled sweater. Maybe one day. 🤷‍♀

I was looking up some info on knitting/yarn notions, and your video "I spent $2,000 on NOTIONS so you don't have to | Knitting & Crochet notions, tools, & gadgets REVIEW" popped up in my feed, so I watched it. I liked it, so peeked at your channel, and saw a few more I thought I'd watch. I'm a complete novice at knitting, and only mildly/moderately 'advanced' in crochet. When I saw the video for the wedding gift, I thought it would be fun to watch. I was surprised at your honesty and sharing so much of your life and relationship. I am so glad you found each other. I think so much of your character shows through, when you say "...and I hope you're someone that can accept me, and if that's not how you feel, that you can grow to accept me" us beautiful. I really expected a polite "you can go on your way' or 'we can just go our separate ways". It says so much that your concern, is to put your own hurt to the side, to hope that they might change'.
