I rewatched both movies and wow... it’s so different compared to the many anime movies and series I have watched. From the characters to the scenery, it was very thoughtful! I love how Benio (the main girl character) stands for what is right, even if it is against the traditional way! The emotion made me tear up a bit as well! Recommend this movie!!!

I know nobody ask but i will summarize this movie for whoever want to know what happened and why the ending disappoint me so much. (Im not english speaker im sorry if its hard to understand) SPOILER ALERTTTTT First, the movie shows that after Ijuin fell from the cliff, he was saved by larisa, which is HIS SISTER IN-LAW. After ijuin's mother left him when he was just a child, she married another man and had a boy named sasha mikhailov. Sasha married to larissa but later he died. So, because of the longing of her husband, larissa convice ijuin that he IS sasha. They (ijuin, larissa, ijuin's mother) are fugitives (idk why) and after ijuin's mother passed away they went to japan for a new life. He introduced himself as sasha. After the welcoming party (and after beino tried to sneak into their room) there's a scene where larissa is coughing. She said sorry to ijuin (sasha) but he said "dont be, im your husband afterall" BUT later when he met up with Onijima he told him that HE KNEW HE IS NOT SASHA. he knew larissa made him believe he is sasha. He knew that sasha is his lil brother. Like, WaT-? (At this point i assume the reason why he still be sasha because he started to fall in love with larissa) UH-UH IM WRONG. Later he remembers benio. He remember his feelings for her (I MEAN, i know your memory is tricked, but your feelings aren't. If you KNEW you are not larissa's real husband but you still care for her, comfort her, literally always on her side THEN WAT IS IT BOI? Y U DID DAT?) And benio is happy because he remembers her and still waits for him (i was like, gUrl- dont. DOES SHE FORGET that ijuin is "married"? I get it, the person you waiting for finally come back to you. But still.. i think at this point benio need to let go because he already has a WIFE) Then, Onijima came to her publishing office to talk about sasha's real identity. Later the boss (aeo tosei) came to see ijuin to talk about his feelings towards benio and had planned to marry her (benio already know his feelings) its like, decide bro, will you love her or leave her? (actually those action should trigger ijuin to do something but he did NOTHING) Phew- let me take a break Later benio felt "wait, does he really love me?" So she peek trough the fences at their house and saw how ijuin is truly care for larissa. She decided it was over beetween them. And so they met. Iujin starts the convo with "i sold larissa jewelry bcs that the only thing we can do for a living now" (they're poor) and beino think "if i take ijuin back how can larissa live?". Then ijuin talked about how how wrong their relationship is, how he cant do it no more, then beino break the proposal and they wished each other "good luck in finding your own happiness" (YASSSS FINALLY THEY HAVE THEIR OWN HAPPY ENDINGG! I clapped and smiling so biggggggg) Later, tosei's mother visit him at the publishing office. She wanted tosei to work at his step dad bank company and have a new house. Turns out, the new house is iujin's family house that has been (pawned, gaged, mortgage) to his step dad company, he refused "tell me your wish but dont take the house" his mother agreed and told him to shut down his publishing company and join his step dad bank company. After that benio find out about the mortgage, she realized why tosei did that is because he loves her, she realized how tosei has helped her soooo many times, how tosei support her, and always be there for her, she realized that she also has feeling for him and say that she loves him too. and so she accept tosei's proposal. They engaged, the wedding is in 2 months (YAS FINALLY A WEDDINGGG finally its a happy ending eventough the MCs are not together, they have their own happines, everyone happy, im happy, my family happy- wait) During the first look (is that right?) they looked happpyyyyy and they hugged and benio said "i believe my life will full of happiness if i with you" and stuffs how they love each other, BUT NO, larissa died, before she took her last breath she said sorry to ijuin for making him belive he is someone he's not. She told ijuin he should have a happy live with someone he love. But she died and then big earthquake happenend. Because he is worry about benio's safety he rushed out riding a horse looking for her. Yes completly normal (Boi- your partner, your "wife", your sister inlaw, basically someone who is with you for yearss, someone you truly care about, someone you cerished someone who loved you dearly and probably you love her back too just died. And you already looking for your ex while she's still in her deathbed. Wow) After the earthquake, benio got stuck in the ruins and tosei like ran trough fire, and climb the ruins to find her (it touches my heart how he really loves benio) but benio is fine and only thinking of ijuin. How she wanted to see ijuin for the last time before she died (i was like.. waht. YOU are getting married and your husband looking for you trough the fire and all you can think is your ex that choose his wife and- im literally speechless) Magic happend, ijuin appeared, he saved her but his leg is injured. So they just stay there, talk how much she love him and KISS-- (i was so pissed ngl) after that tosei found them and SHE TOLD HIM HOW SHES STILL IN LOVE WITH IJUIN AND SHES OKAY IF SHE DIE WITH HIM IN THIS CHAOS. (So thats all "i love you" "i want to live a happy life with you" was a lie? Imagine your bride, telling you shes still loving her ex, at the day at your wedding, and- i mean you have 2 months before the wedding to fix your mind, fix your heart. 'Am i really want to marry him?') But yes, being a man he is, tosei helped benio and iujin out of the ruins. And let them have their good life

I haven't watched it yet and this really helped🙏❤️but here is some of my thought of this movie/story 😅. Okay....BUT SERIOUSLY that Ijuin!!! *sigh* I really shipped him and Benio, and I have a habbit of not being able to change ship afterwards. Honestly, I am still pissed that Ijuin chose Larissa even tho he knew a little part of the truth that Larissa made him believe that he was Sasha. But I still believe that Ijuin genuinely loved/loves Benio cuz he didn't have all of his memories when he was Larissas "husband". And when Larissa died, Ijuin gained his memories back, that's why he chased after Benio again cuz he REALLY TRULY LOVES Benio...BUT I CAN STILL NOT FORGET THAT HE CHOSE LARISSA RATHER THAN BENIO even tho he knew that he WASN'T SASHA *tsk tsk tsk* *SIGH* 😤 and I feel bad for Tosei😭. But all in all, Larissa wasn't a "bad" person...I feel like the reason Ijuin stayed with Larissa was cuz he felt pity and not "LOVE" cuz in the end he still LOVED/LOVES Benio..okay I'll end it here cuz I don't even know if anyone will read this.
