I listened to his interview and I have a hard time believing at 27 years old he wasn't bright enough to understand the possible legal ramifications of donating sperm to a couple without proper paperwork. They as a same-sex couple should've talked about the possibility of custody should they get a divorce, and put that in a legal document. Meh, I can see both sides. What I took from Laterras was that he adjusted his interview method to ensure he kept Lyler talking, after assessing the type of person he is & taking his court case into account. I can respect the way he managed to pull the information out of Lyler & made sure he kept rephrasing to help the audience realize a lot of what Lyler was saying was unreliable. We can still understand that from the interview alone, even if we didn’t see other interviews done by Bri, Deshaun, etc. When you know you will never get the truth from someone, the next best thing is catching them in a lie.
