In my opinion, you didn't talk enough about the episode 6 situation with AD. The fact that the entire party devolved into all of these white people making creepy comments about her body and Laura talking about having bean dipped her when they first met (ie. SLAPPING HER BREASTS) is disgusting. From the beginning with Jimmy calling her stacked, Chelsea yelling that at her, and then Jimmy using that as an excuse to come over and hit on her, Jeramey mentioning that Laura told him to do the same thing when he saw her, and then everyone acting like Clay and AD were crazy for getting angry about that, and then Laura REFUSING TO APOLOGIZE. It all read to me as racism and hypersexualization. If I were AD and that happened I would have left that party on the heels of a full scale panic attack. Additional things to note: - AD’s over sexualization by both the cast members and her edit (camera would zoom in on her waist and body). This made me so sad. She talked about how she works hard to be fit, and Clay can only see that as a benefit to him and not as something admirable about her. - I understand that Chelsea was trying to make an uncomfortable moment more comfortable by playing along with Jimmy’s comment on AD’s body, but hollering across a party to comment on AD’s figure was so disrespectful to me and somewhat makes me think if she would have done it so unabashedly and publicly if AD wasn’t a Black woman - After Chelsea says that people say she looks like Megan Fox (she did not say that about herself btw. In fact, she says that she doesn’t see the resemblance outside of the dark hair and blue eyes), Jimmy literally says ”can we get married already” implying that he would do so just based off of her saying she may resemble Megan Fox…but then he turns around and says that Jess missed the point of the show by saying he’d choke when he sees what he missed. Bean dip apparently is when you smack or pop someone's chest and it bounces back I think. So it's basically saying she has big boobs and she wanted her partner to "Bean dip" her boobs or whatever. My mom was hella triggered by how they were focused on AD's body and how everyone was like openly objectifying her. It's so weird. And some people will say "Well she makes sure her body looks a certain way so she probably doesn't mind that kind of attention" but she obviously does mind when one of the people she is close to in the group tells her partner to smack her boobs. @@mfeceI had an especially visceral reaction to it because I’m someone who also copes with the death of their father through humor. I’d be so turned off if someone said that to me. I don’t doubt he was continuing it. Naturally, people want to continue the banter in that situation to keep the conversation light. However, his mind immediately going to “roadblock” was.. a choice. Like, edgy humor but he forgot he was talking about a real person. 🥴

Jimmy to me reads as the type of guy that doesn't want his wife to be more experienced than him. He doesn't want her to have kids, or have been married before, or even previously engaged. Likely he'd rather they not have had a lot of partners either... Idk he just gives me major ick because he tries so hard to say the "right things" so he's not seen as an asshole, but like you can tell he's actually shallow by looking at his face. The man may be saying the right things but his facial expressions don't match the words. Chelsea did not do what she did to play it off as a joke. If thats what she wanted, she wouldve kept it between them. She felt embarrassed and tried to embarrass not only jimmy but AD as well. I feel like Jimmy felt he had to go to AD bc it was embarrassing for him and he knew he was wrong and outted. AD probably knew he was embarrassed and was trying to make it okay for him. Ive done that before as well. Chelsea clearly put his and her ass on the spot. SHES not a girls girl. Personally i would have made us ALL uncomfortable. "Why are you commenting on my butt?" Gurl I feel you with the early questions. I'm blunt, that might come off AGGRESSIVE or whatever. But I cannot be in a relationship with someone that doesn't share my values. Maybe not all of them, but politics is one where we need to be on the same page. I'd be shotgunning those first few questions on day one, very speed dating style: can you cook, do you want kids, what are your political leanings?
