28:36 Alex showed up, gave a side hug, answered a few questions and then took a nap. The Meet The Family comparisons are polar opposite. Now let's put that shoe on the other foot: If Tim had been like: "I would like to meet your dad, who drove hours to meet me, but let me get a nap in real quick." No one would be making excuses for his behavior. However, I think Alex was blindsided by the abruptness of the breakup and Tim handled it like... less than a gentleman.

I’ve probably already said this but it bears repeating, I’m so happy I discovered y’alls channel😭. Your perspectives have been mine and it’s been hard finding people who felt similarly lol😭 Fair, balanced, relatable and always trying to see different perspectives. Digging into the psychology and motivations for why each person in a coupling might have acted the way they did makes for more interesting tv in my opinion🤷🏽‍♀️ Truly, Y’all are a breath of fresh air😂 Also yes, some people were definitely just looking for a reason to dislike 🐏 because they think he’s sanctimonious and acts morally superior. And boy did he give them a reason😭 He handled those conversations terribly or at least what was shown didn’t do him any favors lol. Do I think he’s ready for marriage #2, no, but I don’t think he’s this terrible person some corners of the internet are trying to paint him out to be. Like there’s people actually comparing him to Tyler. The same guy who’s been ghosting his 3 kids for like a year at this point😭

When Tim read that letter to Alex's father I was shocked of the depth of his feelings and thought there is no space to say No 2 weeks later at the alter. The fact that he broke up with her 2 days later -makes all his words performative empty platitudes of a man obsessed with the facade ( "how he looks"), and the fact that he made cry the Dad with progressed MS whom he promised to take care of his daughter forever and never hurt her - makes him a sociopath !! And every furthet talk about Alex's missteps - is irrelevant conversation -as a faux pas in her make-up !

I believe Marissa's timeline changed after Ramses said he didn't want to use protection and she was unwilling to get on bc. In that conversation, she was like, 'fine, I could have a baby sooner. But yes, she doesn't hold firm to her positions

In a recent Vulture interview, Alex admitted that when she met Tim's parents, she was not in a good mood, which is why the vibe was off. Tim had told her before meeting his parents that he was still uncertain about their relationship. 🙃

First wanted to say I love your platforms 😊❤. I feel like I'm talking to my girlfriends. You guys always make thoughtful points and have so much grace while doing it. I agreed with almost everything you both said. I wanted to elaborate on Ramses' section. I also believe he hoodwinked her. Marissa has some accountability in allowing it because she didn't see the signs of where they didn't align (or thought that they could overcome them). He used the progressive man who is a feminist to his advantage. It's like the saying where Malcolm X says that white liberals can be more harmful to black people because they want the same power as a conservative but mastered the art of being our friend and gaining our support… I believe that's the same as a progressive man that wants the same benefits and power as a traditional man but they pose as an ally. Just as a liberal can be racist a progressive man can just be as misogynistic. Remember when he told her he wouldn't mind being a stay-at-home dad. I could see why she would think that she has an equal who would help in the mental labor of rearing a child and why that would translate into helping in other traditionally female roles. However, Ramses seems like he wouldn't want to let go of his male privilege in society but would be the man who wouldn't mind being with a woman who is a breadwinner. So essentially she would become the provider and the person doing most of the domestic labor as time goes by.

Hannah was so gross towards Nick! Ok, he’s a little immature but he was upfront about it! Tim aka drizzy Drake lol never got over Mexico then her nasty apartment. I think he pinned her as lazy and decided to leave. He could have been more honest than that nap excuse. He took joy in telling her he didn’t want her too! Smh

Alex admitted in an interview that her energy was absolutely off when she went to meet his parents because right after Tim read the letter to her father he was telling her he had doubts about marrying her. Whether he was gonna be with her or not he still has no excuse for his delivery. Tim presents an air of superiority that is very off putting. Another thing I think it’s unfair to say whether or not Alex or anyone for that matter did or didn’t truly like their partner we only see a portion of their interactions and I doubt she would have Tim meet her sick father if she didn’t see some kind of future with him.

Oh man. You guys filmed like a day too early!! Tyler’s baby mama released a series of reels explaining their situation. I usually hold a little bit of skepticism bc both sides tell versions of the truth. But holy hell. Even if you take her videos with a grain of salt….it’s still SO bad. There’s no redemption for him imo and I’m VERY curious if he comes clean during the reunion which sadly I think has already filmed.

Alex and Tim were Not compatible periodt. And its okay !! I do not put more owness on one over the other. There was very little exposure regarding these two for some reason. Great point regarding " no romance " between the two.. Tim didnt get down on one knee from the jump. However... Alex is Not w/o fault in this scenario. Now everyone feeling sorry for Alex's Dad ... is this Not the person who left his wife when she was diagnosed with MS? ... The effort put forth for her Dad shd have included Both parents not just Him. I'm glad they ended it as well. ... I wonder if Tim and Ashley would have worked?

They had to have a plan with meeting Alex's parents because Alex didn't tell her dad the truth about the experiment. Tim really made an effort to impress her parents, and Alex was just meh when his parents arrived. And I think Tim knew Alex is not the one for him when he saw the state of her apartment and then it just keeps piling when they started living together.

I feel as though Alex was meh regarding her own family, compared to Tim , except when it came to the contrived presentation , Alex was keen on this , to her Dad. The man who left her Mom when she had MS.. There is a stark difference between the two when it came to both families , if you watch closely
