Ryotaro is a stand-up guy for changing his hair color. That was one of the single most impressive things I have seen done in the Love is Blind franchise.

Yes!!! It was such a sweet gesture, it really showed Ryotaro took the meeting of her parents very seriously, and being a hairstylist he can always return to his signature style later. And I think that made a very good impression, that she comes first and he wants to do his best for her! Also I found it incredibly cute when Motomi showed up at the 3 month meetup sporting a soft blond herself. She looks so good in it!

First I thought that it was great that he was staying true to himself, but then seeing that he actually cared more about having a respectable introduction to Motomi's parents showed how great of a man he is. I'm happy for them!

For me I thought it was really just a hair color so really not a big deal😂 it’s not even like he was born with blonde hair and I was like okk if he really loves her then he should just dye to his natural again..

Mindoro and Wataru were the most western couple of the group, due to their time spent in the US. I thought it was interesting how he would let her go through the door first, where the other Japanese men usually walked through the door first. I was glad that they decided to stay together. This is a better show than the US version.

Great job Heather! The Motomi and Ryotaru relationship was one of my favorite arcs. It was so shaky when they left the pods but by the end they really loved each other.

Midori and Wataru were my favorite for sure! They always just seemed so comfortable with each other. And so excited for their baby!!

Hi Heather! I love your analyzes! Could you please talk more about this Soft start up in a conversation? Maybe you could make a video about this that you noticed in the different versions of Love is blind series? I think the cultural aspects may lead to this soft start up, so comparing cultural differences in the US and Japan versions would be great!

Thank you for your comment! I can for sure talk more about the soft start up and the cultural differences between the two Love is Blind versions! There's supposed to be the US After the Alter coming out this month, I can try to talk more about it then 😊

Midori was literally disgusted by Wataru's look. So sad. What did she expect from the show called Love is blind? Wataru has wonderful voice and personality, he isn't that bad looking either. Not sure if she will ever love him. :(

I like Wataru as well, a nice guy inside and out. I did understand Midori though struggling at first with him not being her type, but I didn’t marry my type either 😉. By the way, they seem very happy, expecting their first child later this month 💕. You can follow them on IG and YT to continue seeing their journey.
