Ok so from what I understood about the Jimmy/Chelsea argument was more that she was upset about him still being friends with a girl he's slept with before (understandable) BUT instead of just bringing it up on its own, she decided to bring it up after saying he "goes out all the time" because he had just come back from a friend's bday (in which he probably can't choose who goes), even though she admitted he came back relatively quickly- then she randomly brought up the Jess thing with no evidence. I definitely think he does a terrible job of reassuring her, and I'm 99% sure he's only seeing it through out of guilt for rejecting Jess or wtv, but still- crazy insecure, clingy behavior on her part

Thank you guys for being the only people to validate that while yes, Chelsea has a lot of issues... she isn't delusional about the vibes she gets from Jimmy. He doesn't seem into her, so when he pretends nothing is wrong and "don't you think I love you" ... that's also pretty manipulative, and gaslighting her. That basically puts her in a no-win situation, if she answers "of course I think you love me" then he'll play it from that angle and keep disrespecting her since that's basically her accepting the treatment. And well, we saw the result of her calling it out and saying "I'm not sure that I do think you love me" or "Basically, no". And to be fair, her behavior is manipulative as well... so I'm not giving her a pass at all. But a lot of other channels I've seen talking about this, have completely blamed her. I don't think that is an accurate take, and I appreciate your take for all the people who have dated someone that wasn't really that into them, but they tried to deny it to make you break up with them first.

People love to give me shit when I say I hate conflict but Chelsea is literally embodying how my mother was every hour of the day when I grew up. Conflict is normal, but this will wear you down so fast. You can’t heal 30 years of insecurities and past cheating trauma by saying I love you every minute. Every time she feels like you aren’t obsessed with her she will pick a fight. The whining, lying, interrogating, interrupting and endless blaming that happens because someone is emotional makes me wanna yeet myself into the ocean. No amount of patience will make it better.
