If I were Zanab, I'd be mortified after seeing how that cuties scene ACTAULLY played out. And that scene was ultimately a metaphor for their entire relationship. Cole would be playful and fun while she'd just be an insecure sourpuss constantly projecting her issues onto him. He definitely dodged a bullet.

There were always many red flags with Cole and Zanab. Cole is definitely not clean but Zanab seems to misinterpret everything Cole says because of her victim mentality and low self esteem. Cole aggravated it with his immaturity. Cole has good intentions and a kind heart unlike Zanab who seems mean spirited. When Cole cooked her dinner she completely overlook the kind gesture but instead focussed on what he was not doing right. In the "cuties" scene she takes out something to eat for herself and did not offer to share with him when both of them were clearly hungry. She comes across as self absorbed and overly judgemental. That kind of behavior destroys relationships.

Zanab is a Gaslighter. Everything Cole said or did she took it out of context and made up her own story and ran with it. And what she did to him at the altar was so disgusting and uncalled for. Its sad, when Cole was receiving hate he apologized and said he wants to learn from those mistakes etc. He was receiving criticism for three weeks when the majority was siding with Zanab. The ONE time people on on Zanabs side, she takes that opportunity, not to self reflect, but to now accuse Cole of all sorts and tell the public to basically F off and hate on Cole instead. Zanab was a whole, complete ass to Cole. She spent the whole time plotting on how to make him pay for being 9 out of 10. She made up an entire story that magically, there's no footage of. She's vengeful, a liar, and that makes the 9 that he originally rated her entirely too good for her. She blew everything out of context, treated him like a peon, and I hope he does not take the fact that no one else can see through her bs as a fault of his. She did him a huge favor, in that he dodged a psychotic, narcissistic bullet. Bartistes only crime is that he hasn't lived as long as the others, he wasn't a bad dude. He saw things exactly as I would expect someone his age to see them. But the fact that he tried to do something mature, and more importantly, WANTED to do something mature, for the sake of a woman that he knew was a good woman, is commendable in my opinion. 20's are for fucking up, sewing seeds, and then regretting them in your 30's. Thats how you learn. SK made Raven likeable. She was just not, until him. Im glad Matt chose to trust again, instead of the typical "make everyone pay for one persons mistake" route. I'm glad I saw through her before the cutie scene. Cole had his faults for sure but later on, as they stayed together you watched him dodge Zanab snippy comments and work on rebuilding her confidence and reassuring her. And she is such a spitfire that if he really did all those things she said he did, she would have had ended the relationship. She is dealing with the grief of her parents and growing up looking different then her surroundings. She had a complex even her step mother said it when she and Cole talked, she said Zanab is always wondering if her skin is too tan and etc etc. Cole tried again and again and that Cutie story gave him retribution for the villain that Zanab painted him to be. She whined so much about everything he did she would have brought that up too. And of course she would say Production made him look good. They pulled her card. Poor Cole, maybe you'll get your own show to find true love. And look at Zanab back in the swing of things. I hope her therapist watches the show too.

I felt so bad for Cole. Zanab didn’t like him, period. She tore him down left and right on this show. She was cruel and these girls ripped this poor guy to shreds, All the girls. Girls now days are something else. Their so afraid of being body shamed or put down or let down or mistreated in anyway, intolerable about anything against them. Unforgiving and ungracious to anyone they think has wronged them. Cole wasn’t perfect by no means but many people watching realized he was a decent person at the end of the day. He cared for her and I am glad he dodged a bullet and not tided the noose with that girl. No one should be with someone who is so critical of everything they do. Being put down everyday for just being themselves. Zanab and these girls are all blind to their flaws because girls want to back other girls. The thing is they feel because they are girls they have the freedom to rip these poor men apart by the throat without fear of retaliation from these men because heaven forbid these guys try to stick up for themselves without being black listed by everyone in the world. That’s why these girls are literally ripping these guys apart without fear. They think they can say whatever they want because they think they hold the power. They think “we’ll it’s your word against mine” and what is a poor white guy gonna do nowadays? he can’t say much because if he does he is considered a racist or something else that is vile and disgusting. She blasted him on his wedding day in front of his friends and maybe some family members of his. She embarrassed him in the worst way. Yet if Cole did that to her? Every woman in America would want to seem him destroyed, yet he has to stand there and take that treatment and even go as far as have to apologize for it? for what? They act as if they hold both against him but they are literally ripping him apart on that couch and they were so cruel to him they brought that guy to tears but that’s ok for a girl to do that to a guy right? but it’s never allowed for a guy? smh.. We all watched this show and he did nothing wrong. Ok maybe asking her on camera if she was bipolar wasn’t good, he could have held off until the cameras stopped rolling for that one but that was it. She was never happy with him or anything he ever did to or for her. She has a low self esteem of herself. Always trying to sabotage her relationship with him and test him and his commitment to her constantly. Look he and Colleen had a moment but at the end of the day he chose Zanab and she chose Matt. Zanab and Matt we’re projecting their insecurities on these poor people who came late into their lives just trying to love them. Look people make mistakes, no one is perfect but have a little more grace and make allowance for peoples short comings and failures. That’s what you need in a marriage. If more people forgave more, showed grace when it’s needed. Stop having it be all about yourself 24/7 and start thinking about others a little more. I believe there would be less divorce. But that’s the problem no one is thinking about the kids or the other person now days it’s just about what makes ME happy, what makes ME feel good etc. and no one is really taking those wedding vowels serious anymore, no one is truly saying “till death do we part”. The vows now days should change to “I’ll love you for as long as I feel like it or I don’t fall for someone else”, I’ll stay married to you for as long as I want or until you don’t disappoint me or let me down in anyway”.. With an attitude like that? how can anyone feel truly safe? truly loved? that even marriage vows won’t keep you around forever. I hope all these people wake up to reality of what a real relationship looks like and not the fantasy they keep chasing after. This is why there is a lot of lonely people out there because they would rather be alone then give up a little bit of what they want or think they deserve to truly make a relationship work with someone else, sad..

I like Zanab but I now understand her behavior and it's not cool. She's very serious and can't take a joke which is really hard for someone like her. I used to be like her and would used to pick on everything my bf does for me disregarding the sweet and good things he does. It's just I was raised in a really strict family like military training way lol. But moved here to Canada and been here 12 years and yah I realized I need to lighten the fuck up and I did and am enjoying life more and not take things too personally and always appreciate and be grateful. I wish she saw Cole's good side rather than the ones she didn't like sooner than later. Shaming him infront of the altar was disgusting. She can't move on from her insecurities and that's her fault. Damm she's really hot and pretty if only she realizes that. Cole has accepted his faults and apologized. Everyone needs to move on and not crucify him over again. Poor guy being ganged up on.

Yes, I suppose 10/90 split is still a divide, but nearly EVERYTHING I've seen and read has been in Cole's favor after the cutie scene played out (way to take that moment out of context btw). They were incompatible from the beginning, and while both brought out bad things in the other, Zanab's toxicity is off the charts. She seems to be a vengeful, deeply unhappy person, and I can't picture her compromising enough to ever live with another person.

I don’t think these comments really understand that Zay interpret these comments because cole had consistently emotionally beat her up. Yes she required a lot of reassurance due to some glaring insecurities, but every time she asked for it Cole shut her down. That beach scene was horrible. Calling her a 9/10 vs Coleen, the incredibly hurtful ‘truths’ he spoke about w/o any consideration for her feelings. These all triggered all her insecurities and her defense mechanism, that were not helpful in this situation. She is not the monster everyone points her out to be.

There’s 3 components to an effective communicator: what (what your point is), how (how you are expressing the point, landing (is what and how you are saying having the effect that you intent). Often times, it’s not the what you are saying but how you are saying it. Additionally, truth without kindness is being cruel. Kindness without truth is manipulation. Time and time again, Cole’s delivery of the “truth” was visibly hurting Zay. She showed clear signs of distress, and Cole continued to emotionally pound her. That shows that Cole had little regard for Zay’s feelings. He consistently played a game of hot and cold, reassuring her whilst putting her down. Telling her she was great, in the next breath telling her Coleen was prettier than her. While his insults were subtle and covert they land just the same.

But whats the point of going on a show were you have to decide who you want and whether you want to get married in six weeks, such a short period, if all you are going to want to hear are lies? Zanab was checked out and upset with Cole even before he made those comments to her. She angry right after their first night of sleeping together when he got up to go shower.
