I went to undergrad with Yemi. She's pretty cool. And she comes from a good Nigerian family. She's also a Minnesota Timberwolves Cheerleader on top of her day job. Unfortunately (or fortunately) doesn't seem like she'll get a lot of airtime. But either way cheering for her to either find a husband or fame, lol. And yes, Minneapolis is one of the worst dressed of the franchise so far.

It’s the “hip” area so I stay far away;) and I also am weirded out by men in flip flops. I can do slides though. We are the state of 10,000 lakes. Men deserve to enjoy them shoe-less I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

[Minnesotan here] Minnesota is most definitely NOT in the bible belt -- the Twin Cities are not very religious which is why I am guessing some of the cast specifically pointed out they are not willing to compromise on religion given the lack of religion amongst the people I know. Super late to this, but as an MN native, I have some insight on the flipflop thing. I think almost every girl I know here hates flip flops on men. I can’t speak to the dirty/blue shoes, but for some context, flip flops can only be worn like 1/4 of the year here. We’re not used to seeing men’s feet in general. Slides are fine, but if they’re the type to go in between the toes it’s just weird to us. Most men here wear slides in the summer because they’re also able to wear those with socks when it’s a bit chillier and therefore they’re more common. So, flip flops are rare to see and when it happens it just looks weird to us. I wouldn’t say it’s an instant no for me if I see flip flops, but it definitely would throw me off guard.
