The way Cat reacted to Freddie hugging her tells you everything you need to know. Freddie was a gentleman through and through. Cat acts like a witch. Her love is conditional.

I find Cat insufferable really, but I can see how these gestures (removing earrings, ring, getting away as soon as possible from everything from Freddie including him, in person) come from a great hurt and shock, probably from being a bit blindsided and confident that things will go your way, so that when they do not and sxht hits the fan, you are even a bit horrified that you had a different idea from the reality happening in front of your eyes and feel like the rug has been pulled out from under your feet... a bit delulu if you ask me, but hey, at least Freddie is safe from "the witch" :))

She could have expressed her hurt and disappointment while still showing love. I dunno I just would never say to someone who i purport to love so deeply “dont hug me”. @@mamanlo Yeah, we all express differently when in shock/crisis situations, and I get the need and want for comfort, but when she was basically rejected at the altar I suppose she felt like he was the last person that should & could do that, it's like asking the thing that just hurt you to also heal you in the next moment. UGH, I watched her on a podcast with the UK hosts (thank God it was short, I cannot take too much of a dose of her) and she said that Freddie told her some other stuff after the cameras stopped rolling, as in the official version was "too soon to marry, let's try more" but actually it was basically the end. Which, tbh, I'm not mad at - I suppose he wanted to save face for the both of them and make the rejection in the public eye less harsh.

The meeting with his family was filmed but not broadcast. His parents were present at the wedding tho. But, I agree, it's odd that his “real friends” didn't show up for the fitting and the bachelor party, maybe they didn't want to be on TV...

I knew not trust Ollie. Them vegans… Freddie & Catherine - I don’t think she was surprised. She made a comment pre ceremony to her mate saying “Don’t get my hopes up”. I think Freddie is being a stand up guy and trying to limit the embarrassment to Catherine. But I doubt he likes her. Or will realise that the “Bougie” stuff and snappiness and the fact that ALL her exes cheated on her whilst she never stops flirting with other guys, all that and more really is why they shouldn’t be together. I’m glad Freddie hasn’t made his looks his personality, but Catherine definitely does. The “Don’t hug me” comment was either because she was being that petty, or, and what I think is more likely, is that she wanted to appear more like a victim than she is. I say that because she really tried to not move her mouth saying it (she’s aware of the cameras) but fortunately parabolic mics gave her away. Steven & Sabrina - Steven looks like Benedict Cumberbatch went to gym. If the reunion isn’t their baby shower too, I’ll be disappointed. Tom & Maria - Tom doesn’t seem like he was invested in this at all. The comment of it being “realistic” I think roots from him questioning whether people are actually REALLY going to get married. He threw those hurdles in the way to not get married. He probably actually likes Maria but there’s no way he was going to get married that soon. Maria seems naive enough to take him back at first but I hope she snaps out of it. Tom gives me cheater vibes. Maria’s mom tells Tom he should call her mom. The next sentence he refers to her as Fatima lol. Jasmine & Bobby - I think they’ll go far. He’s a quick learner and emotionally intelligent. She’s got her head screwed on right and heart in the right place. There’s no surprise that she was going to say yes. I feel that she wouldn’t play a man like that just for the camera. Demi & Ollie - Not communicating at the first moment that they’re apart is more than enough to question the sense of reality in the relationship. It gives pause to then allow the relationship to mature before prematurely committing. They’ll get married someday I reckon. But only if Ollie grows at the same pace as Demi. Back with another essay and I am very glad to see I am not the only one, yipeee! Notes have been taken and now I am following through, so here goes - and sorry in advance for the brackets galore that is about to happen: The hen do question....like who would I have there...considering I have been through this (member of the D group here)(divorce, let's get the -ick and -eath jokes out of the way)(at least in my mind), the answer is pretty much....whoever is in my social circle at the time?... because I live in a different place than the one I grew up and because I navigated a lot of friends groups throughout the years (either by being in different relationships, or work places, or just...life happening and all), I only have a few truly close friends, who are in quite far places compared to me, and we only manage to meet in person maybe a couple times a year (if that). And the hen do that I actually had was something of a surprise from the MOH (who at the time was the gf of a close friend of my now-ex) and I was sorta ambushed in having it, meaning I left home with my fiancé at the time under the pretense that we're gonna have dinner with his parents (he knew what was going to happen, he went with his boys at a stripper club, classic), so I dressed conservatively because I had no idea that the evening will potentially include some clubbing :)) anyhoo, so if I ever were to do this again, yeah, whoever I am in closer contact with at the time, and call a friend :) besides, because of ppl having kids and things, there are logistics involved and I acknowledge that, so all good. The more important part is the relationship post that party we call "wedding", not these things :) at least that's my opinion rn :) You said that (I'm assuming compared to the US seasons we had so far), the UK version seems to have less drama and I totally agree - and I think this is because of (at least in my perception) ppl being more straightforward in UK? and also a big part may have been the ages of the participants, from what I noticed they were more towards their early 30's,late 20's, while in the US seasons I think they gravitated more towards the early to mid twenties generally... so yeah, I think that's why there is a bit of a difference regarding how serious ppl are taking this (except Sam, we don't talk about Sam, I don't have any time for that negative energy, we'll let the internet run its course and we hopefully shall see at the reunion what has happened and if there was any growth there... hahaha who am I kidding, he's gonna continue the absolute trainwreck of a discourse he had, doubling down on his bs)(I would be ecstatic to be proven wrong and hear that he went to therapy but let's be serious). The white tux thing...for me the black and white combo is always risky because there is a fine line between someone trying to be elegantly/smartly dressed in this combo and a fancy waiter at the same event/party/what-have-you. But Steven pulled it off, I think it matters how you accessorize it - like that huge bow tie he had, the buttons and whatever details like that made the outfit solid, 10/10, no notes :)) You said that one of the officiants was a bit shady with what they were saying (cannot remember the exact couple or what exactly they said), but also this is Love is Blind, so besides the fact they absolutely have some phrases that fo sho they are contractually obligated to say (like the "sight unseen" thing), they are trying to make a speech that goes with that specific occasion and it is by no means a regular ceremony. Sure, if those were like regular weddings, the things they say would sound mental and definitely raise eyebrows, but it's a reality show after all so I wouldn't put so much emphasis on what they say exactly, they are also edited, etc. I think I saw in the comments someone already said this, and I can also say that I think the couple you were thinking about was Chelsea and Kwame, I think they were trying to push the narrative that he was too hung up on Micah to really devote himself to the one he ended up with, but hey, they are still going strong as far as I know, good for them, the world is better for it (and he didn't prove himself to be a second SK and cheat, season 3 was such a sxht show when it came to DRAMA with capital D)(another D to joke about :)) ) Demi's dad was such an important figure, I think I get why it got you emotional, it is rare to see that support from loving fathers, and especially in those tough, very emotional situations, women supporting women, like mothers and girlfriends gathering around the bride or the wounded person is something normalized that we expect, but it hits so much harder when a father is there unconditionally for his baby girl. Besides, the edit made it very clear how what she was saying, that her parents showed her what kind of marriage she wants and what she had with Ollie was not there.... So was I shocked or surprised about any of these? honestly only in a good way.... like I was apprehensive of Ollie's potential "no" answer, but Demi came through with her self-love speech which work it, girl! I loved her self-assurance and it was indeed for the best... Ollie, ever since he mentioned about his ADHD kinda endeared himself to me more and some of his reactions became easier to figure out, like him giving a speech at the ppl gathered there is totally something a neurospicy person would do, as in having these collected and seemingly cool-headed (or even cold) reactions in moments of crisis, which is not necessarily true, but then again, we'll see the follow up in the reunion because it matters even more what they do "in the wild", after the show, so....who knows :) Nicole also surprised me by saying "yes" because even if they did have those conversations (you said they should've talked about the nomad vs. stable lifestyle before the wedding, and for all we know they did have them, I mean 🤷), those fears of him feeling some type of way were still there, but ultimately I am glad they both decided to take that leap of faith, now the test of time (at least one year, I guess) will maybe show how they've implemented stuff. As for the rest, all were "business as usual" so to speak, thank heavens Freddie heard the collective roar from the internets screaming to do a 180 and gtfo, but my man went beyond that and talked to everyone, like...my heart almost broke when he was sobbing in the corner and his friends were all rallied there, and the God's gifts to us all, his blessed sister was also there, I mean usually ppl who say no are more collected, of course it doesn't bode well because they do hurt ppl with that decision but ultimately they are at peace with their decision, and this poor guy was just crying his heart out and then he went back and talked to everyone to make sure they know he wasn't a player and his heart was in the right place... because in the end, this show is to the extreme an accelerated track to marriage, I mean it is CRAZY and sure, for the selected few, the stars align and the way they are from the beginning, they are each other's last choice on earth, but he was obviously so caring and considerate and with proper reasoning...ugh, this man is just precious, he needs to be protected at all costs. And Jasmine and Bobby confirmed that good vibe I got from them, she is holding her own against her mother, like thank f*ck for that, and seeing how she said her mother thinks she liked him more than he liked her (or something like that, who knows how hurtfully she might've phrased it, I am sure we got the PC version of it), this to me means that she has come to appreciate the love and assurance Bobby gives her and is in it for the long run, I am honestly so glad for them - I just hope her mom finds like a 3rd husband or something else to distract her from meddling in her daughter's life and living it by proxy - kidding but not really :)) Next shows to review - honestly, I get the whole..."this is not a hot, current thing that ppl are talking about right now so I'm not gonna do it", but I think that you should just review and react to whatever content you enjoy and is at least mostly available to ppl, like the ppl who enjoy watching your videos are doing it for what you bring into the conversation, not just the show in itself - if that makes sense. Like I never watched any Bachelor/ette, but I can watch reactions, I have watched ppl commenting on shows I will never watch just because I like their content, so just choose whatever. As for Mexico, since we keep mentioning it, yes, it is done and with the reunion ended and all, but I haven't seen that many English speaking channels talking about that show, and ppl can still talk about shows that are concluded - besides, it wasn't released THAT long ago :)) having said that, choose whatever you enjoy and want to have conversations about :) because maybe ppl can find out about a show you react to and decide to watch, so the conversation will eventually include more ppl :) Ok, fingers crossed I got this into one comment - I very recently found out that the character limit for a comment is 10 000, if anyone is curious to know - google said that anything past that would be "even longer than the description and bio combined" so :)) thank you for attending my ted talk....AGAIN :))

Tom and Maria should’ve ended at the pods. They weren’t aligned on major values and they glossed over it. I felt for Maria’s family, it felt like Maria was expecting it but her family wasn’t. Tom 100% comes across judgemental, you may not believe in traditional values but the way he talks about Maria’s values and beliefs is off. I was still shocked when he said no though I’m glad Demi said no, she deserves a love as pure as the one she’s seen in her parents Catherine’s tears weren’t even about being heartbroken they were about how others see her. It was I’m embarrassed I’m this what will I say kind of talk and not I’m hurt I’m heartbroken etc. Freddie’s sister is a real one for voice her concerns. Sis is a whole walking red flag who was making Freddie a shell of his former self. I don’t think Catherine expected Freddie to be so handsome and she’s used to being the prize. The idea of being with someone like him may have made her more conscious and more afraid of things like being cheated on. I hope she seems therapy but if she’s dating Sam the doubt she did 😂

Yes, I completely agree - Cat being very self-centered and more like hurt in her ego than heartbroken to me still shows immaturity and hurt... anyhoo, good riddance, golden boy Freddie is SO much better off, istg I hope I don't hear they reconnected at the reunion coz it's like ....what is happening to this world, not putting it past Freddie to forgive and try again, but if the rumours are indeed true and Cat went to that deranged Sam (he's not really deranged, but the levels of insecurity, vanity and everything with that guy SHEESH) it's like....yup, checks out, she went to her ex-like figure :) she needs a whole lotta therapy and way better friends. Oh yeah - I just watched them on a podcast with the UK hosts and from there I think I also tried watching (did not finish because 🤮) an ig reel from Sam where he was trying to play off on the idea that he is called by Catherine, and I was like NOPE, dude, you don't get to tease and get jokey jokey with the public, he barely is even aware of why ppl reacted so intensely to the sxht he kept saying on the show, he was not even dismissive about it but just like "oh yeah, I choose the wrong words, I was so nervous and anxious, I could've phrased it better" and it seems he can ONLY talk about appearances and how he was bullied as a kid and everything, like shallow FTW. In conclusion: fathers treating their daughters well seems to be fuckboy repellent. Demi has been telling us all season she knows what a healthy relationship/marriage entails bc she has been modelled that by her parents her entire life. She knew her relationship with Ollie right now would not translate in that marriage that she aspires to, so it was a clear no. It reminds me of Natalie from LIB US season 2, she said that when her dad walked her down the aisle, she was reminded how safe she feels with him and that she did not feel that safety with the man her dad was giving her away to, so she couldnt say yes either.

Tom and Maria - I think they had discussed Tom was going to say no as there was hardly any wedding guests. It was only minimum amount of people as you can see the camera angle shot did not zoom out. Same with Demi and Ollie, hardly any guests and also think they discussed as let Demi say no as Ollie would get more hate if he said no.

What stood out to me was that Tom and Freddie both said "It's the timing" - No no! No, it's not! Nope! Haha! Nice try being polite but timing has nothing to do with it! Demi confused me about being in contact with Olli, I thought they were supposed to not communicate so they have time to clear their heads for a decision. But I , for the first time predicted every wedding correctly. What I didn't get to find out with Olli and Demi was what was going to be his answer, I said on Your Aunties Could Never was they both would say " No" 😂 Beniah is a gorgeous man, I would marry him, nomad or not.😅 It felt to me Tom and Freddie sort of gave each other permission to say "No" at the stage do. 😅 I thought you were at the screening for episode 10..😮

Sabrina and Tom are my favorite couple. Always have been. Tom disappointed me immensely! I do understand the cultural differences but he didn’t have to promise her Mother and all of that. That is bad karma. I think Demi wanted to say yes but it just didn’t feel right. I was impressed with how Ollie handled it after but Ollie does seem like he just says what he needs to, to be okay with people. I feel like Jazmin and Bobby will not stay together. That Mother is going to ruin the relationship and until Jazmin stands up to her, she will never be in a happy relationship. Her Mother is going to ruin anything good for her. I want to like Nicole and Benaiah but I feel like they both have issues that they need to work through, on their own. I think Nicole has a need to please and Benaiah has a savior complex. I want them to succeed in their marriage and I hope they do but I don’t think they will stay together. I hope I am wrong. I like Freddie a lot, I just feel like he doesn’t know himself. His sister SAVED HIM a lifetime of misery! Thank God!

I can live without yet another “I am single woman, hear me roar” speech from the altar. And poor Ollie just can’t get to the breakup portion of the relationship fast enough, Catherine got to “it’s over” first in the pods and now Demi gets to “it’s over” first at the altar. I'm alright with Demi's decision not to marry. But I think she having a laugh by then going: "I said no,...and it broke my heart." So if Ollie said no, your heart would be broken, but you said no and your heart is still broken! Perpetual victim stuff Never seen that before...
