Yes typically WE can tell who is Black / white etc. It's not really accent by itself but the timbre of our voices, the slang we use, intonation, the way we phrase our sentences. All of the above in combination. With mixed people who are half black, it can be harder but I can usually guess. Even with different types of Asian people there are ways to tell.

I’m gonna have to defend Beniah a bit here. He never said he was homeless. He has a real job as a structural landscaper and lives in the houses he works in - he’s basically a contractor. Nicole is the only person to blame here for the choices she made. The moment Sam opened his mouth, he screamed red flags. He even said he’s a smooth talker. Nicole’s gut told her the first time but she ignored it even when Beniah and Jasmine told her the truth. Ben didn’t tell her what she wanted to hear; he cared about her and actually asked questions to get to know her. Also, to be able to travel across the world, you need to have money and I’m sure Beniah makes a decent amount of money.

I actually think Benaiah is a cool dude. Like, he can just rent a home, he don't need to own anything, it's just a lifestyle decision. From what he told Nicole, he is willing to leave that nomad life though not completely and that's just fine. In my opinion, it is him that shouldn't give her another chance, I really dislike the lack of judgement and her choosing Sam even before Jasmine told her he was not a good option. There's something about Catherine that seems very disingenuous, I can't quite place it but I think Freddie could've done better, unfortunately that seems to be the only connection he made in the pods. Ollie is not into Demi, you can always tell during the reveal who is attracted to who. The first couple who was revealed were both genuinely attracted to each other, the rest are questionable.

Um, I've lived that travel life, and I am sadly not a trust fund baby; my family is not well off at all. I just worked whilst travelling. And I am the artist type! Ha ha ha. Maybe that type is just prone to go off on the travel life. I lived a risky life without privilege. But, I agree, 'homeless' and travelling/digital nomad vibes are very different things. I never thought of myself as homeless, but I guess technically I was. Now I have a cat, and I'm settled down. I don't think it's the red flag most people are making it out to be. From lived experience. I have a career, I was happy to settle down when I got my cat. Those years of travelling, making friends with people from all over the world, and living in different cultures were times of huge personal growth for me. It made me a better person. I think they could potentially be a very good match.

I felt the same way, but then he opened up about having ADHD and it honestly changed my perspective on his behavior / demeanor. My bf & I both have ADHD, and one of the symptoms is difficulty making eye contact & appearing as if you're not listening when someone is talking to you. I also think meeting Demi and immediately going to Greece could've been a very overwhelming situation for him, resulting in anxiety & inattention. Especially when Bobby and Jasmine were hounding on him & he got super upset and stormed off - def just impulsivity & hypersensitivity to criticism. That being said, I have no idea how he actually feels about Demi, but all of his "red flags" I've seen so far could actually just be symptoms of ADHD & he could genuinely love her!!

Hey! Black British here! And I’m from south London, if you are from South / East London most people have a distinctive accent. So, if I would have heard someone with the same accent you can gather you have a similar background/ way of life in that area, which will automatically make you feel a connection or the sense of “home” with the person you are talking too. There are so many different dialects in the UK. But you can definitely tell over the phone who is black, white or other.. in my option. Same in the US, I’m sure you can tell who is black or white without seeing them? Oh and his name is probably short for Oliver - Oh-Lee not OOOLeee 😆

🤣 He is a gypsy traveller type. I've been him. It's fine. I am now settled down, living in a house with a cat. If I can settle down for a cat, he can settle down for a wife. I don't think it's the red flag everyone is making it out to be. And even though for loooong stretches of time I didn't have a permanent address, I never considered myself 'homeless'. People are losing their minds over this, and I find it kinda funny. Lots of people live like this.
