I'm not going to lie, as a bisexual woman I came to this message to halfly hate on and call out bigotry and halfly to see what he had to say. He was respectful in the way he approached the issue and the Holy Spirit was speaking through him. He did an excellent job at bringing me peace that the God I serve and love is bigger than who I love. He's more powerful than who I am attracted to but he also does not condemn me. I do wish the sermon delved into Jonathan and Samuel (1 Samuel 18) and Ruth and Naomi (Ruth) which are just as thought provoking in the context of homosexuality and a covenant between them and God.

I hope that other Christians that agree with same sex marriage look into researching the information the pastor has give both Biblically and sociologically so they can save their friends that are in same sex relationships and not lead them to hell. That’s not what this guy is preaching! Jesus did not get married. Why? Because Jesus was perfect and had no sin and there was no other one like him. He didn’t have thousands of wives and husbands because he LOVED everyone. This man is talking about intimate relationships. Not your neighbors. Love all your neighbors. That doesn’t mean be in love with them and act upon a relationship with them.

Straight blasphemy- Jesus Christ says the greatest commands are "love God & love your neighbor" Matthew 22:36-40 LOVE is LOVE.... God does call us to love our neighbors as we love ourself. He tells us that by the way we love, those will know we serve Him. Although, the relationship you share in a marriage is made to be a form of two people becoming one with God to deepen each others relationship with Christ and form a family that follows Him fiercely. God created a woman in a perfect way where we are just different enough to fill in the pieces that a man is missing just as a man does this for a woman. Man and woman were created this way to be able to work together perfectly to balance each other out and form a family together. Any way of breaking God's design of a family that He created is a disservice to yourself. This is why gay marriage isn't right in the Bible same as sex before marriage because they both go against God's design of a family. He made this design perfect for us and asks us to follow His design of a family if we chose to not be single in this life because He designed it in a way that will fill our hearts up, we just have to put our trust in Him. God wants us to love everyone but save that relationship in his design because if you are strong enough to trust that it will fill us up and going against that won't. This is why the divorce rate and unhappy marriage goes up, we have to trust Him, after all He knows us better than we know ourselves. He created us.
