Hey David, I heard you say and send shout outs to a lot of the other Pod casts I tune into. 2 questions for you. #1. In the previous recruiting cycles, what has Coach Prime said to the RB’s that has signed with Colorado Buffaloes. These guys have ambitions to play at the next level but we have not committed to the run. #2. If we couldn’t win the Conference with the Heisman trophy winner and the best quarterback in the nation also one of the best WR’s rooms in the nation. Let’s not forget a Freshman All American at left tackle. Where does this Colorado Buffalo team go from here? Mature chat please with thought. Thanks

Can't really speak on expectations firmly until the transfer portal and coaching staff changes are wrapped up. But i do think the long term goal is a national championship. Next year could be more of a transitional year, we will see. In terms of the RBs, its hard to run the ball when you got a bad OL in the run game. But I see it taking another step in the right direction this next year. In terms of what their recruiting pitches are, im not sure. But i don't think its fair to say they dont commit to the run. I would say its been inconsistent. But we have had multiple games this year where we had more run attempts than pass attempts, and a handful of games of 25-30 carries. It wasn't dominant, but it was a step in the right direction.

Linebackers are key to a defense stopping the run. They must be able also to run sideline to sideline and be able to drop into pass coverage. Prime should definitely emphasize getting better and deeper at linebacker. Trevor Woods unfortunately doesn’t fit the qualifications at linebacker.

Come on David. Our first year was filled with Group of 5 and we did Didly Squat. If he’s not dominating that level, don’t jump to this level. Stop getting excited about mediocre players. That makes me and others stop watching

NHG went group of 5 last year and was the best linebacker on CU this year.

Let's be careful about pumping up these FCS guys too soon. In August, we heard that Johnny "Chainsaw" Chaney from Florida A&M was going to be this guy for CU but he couldn't even get on the field outside of special teams. Now he's back in the portal.
