Hi Erin! I’m Asian and recently got into makeup, I own the dior forever cushion foundation and quite like it. Since the weather is hot and humid I tend to avoid full face coverage foundations. Cushion foundation is very popular in Asian countries, since we tend to go for less dramatic looks :)

I love the Chantecaille cushion foundation. It truly has a filtering effect without being heavy. No pores not lines. Not oily. Not drying. Simply beautiful. Wonderful for my mature skin (in my 50's). However I agree with you. I am not a fan of cushion foundations. I use it but I am not sure I will repurchase it due to cushion packaging. The YSL "all in one" in the tube is my favorite foundation. That with the By Terry or Guerlain Meteorites powder and I am done. Hermes blushes look interesting.

The cushion compact is great to wear under a mask. It hardly transfers and you cannot feel it on the skin. I bought the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and its gorgeous. Very glowly. It doesn't sit in any lines either. Well worth a second look.

Chanel released les beiges gel compact in 2017, it was such a flop even the sales associates weren’t too enthusiastic about it. I do agree with you about the dirtiness of the cushions. The Hermès blushers look very interesting to me. Would love to see them in person. The packaging on the Hermès lipsticks never appealed to me, so that is a skip. I would definitely consider a NARS cushion compact foundation, but I’m REALLY waiting to get my hands on the new Chanel Sublimage liquid foundation. Is Chanel coming out with two new lipstick launches? Just last week I received an envelope of new Rouge Coco Flash colors, and now you mention Rouge Allure Bloom lipsticks. That seems unusual to me.

Yes, I know they're very popular in Asia. I think of the Chanel cushion compact that came out a few years ago in the US and was immediately discontinued. From my experience working in cosmetics, they never sell that well here so it's funny to me so that so many brands are coming out with them again this year. Maybe the trend will finally take off here too? Time will tell!

@@ErinNicoleTV - True, we seem to prefer the sponge and brush application of foundation and in many ways American women prefer to have more control over how many layers can be applied. We’re also fans of powders, so this is why it doesn’t get popular in the States. I think Asian women prefer the ‘less is more’ route, whereas we feel that oiliness and sweating can be an issue during Spring & Summer where coverage is more important! It’s nice though that it’s still offered as a suggestion - maybe younger girls may prefer a more ‘natural’ look & it being Chanel, well that seems more like a small luxury niche market anyhow with a rather high price point. Chanel doesn’t lose as it knows it’s successful with these products in other regions, they really only do distribution as the supply chain is already set up. They most likely sell very well in tourist areas & airports, where compact is convenient.

Just got the new hermes lipsticks❤️❤️ and i have to say they are totally worth it for me! The corail aqua is so special, i dont got something like this in my collection even i always buying this range of colors, its the perfect watermelon , love the fact this vibrant colors are also sheer so you can play with them in few ways. If you want to add the spring shades like you said you should so check it out🙏 the rose oasis is also gorgeous , i am trying to hold myself with lipsticks too 🤣 so im skipping the nudes and looking for the shades and texture that will make my wishes come true😂 , so worth it i will send a swatches if you would like

Love your top and earrings together, so beautiful and "happy mood" feeling over it!! So funny with different coulor usage...hihi...I am so tired that most palettes has 100-50% nudes and eathtones. So I am Very happy to see more pallets on the market that do not include those (or very few). I like the ND colour combo, plus it's look like few mattes, (I use max 10% mattes in my eye make up). I prefer to buy pallets that complementing what I already have or has colours I love and want more of. Do you know if the size is as the Love pallet or the big expensive one? (I really like the concept of smaller amount of eyeshadow and less expensive!!! How often do you pan an eyeshadow??? I have never done... :-P)

Cushion foundation is super popular in America and also it usually launch in asia first then America after it is actually has more coverage then a tinted moisturizer and also Korea used cushion foundation for centuries lol and they are so much better then foundation and tinted moisturizer and bb cream and cc cream it will change your life trust me I love so many bb cushion and foundation cushion

I’m on the fence about the spring Dior eyeshadows, if either one interests me it was the one on the right with the lighter color in the middle. I’m also on the fence over the foundation. I love my Dior forever matte with the air flash setting spray. I’m very interested in that blush brush from ermes if that’s spelled correctly. I really love Chanel lip products so I’m interested in a review about those but honestly a nude color would be good enough for me!!! Thank you!

I’m skipping the Dior eye shadow palettes and I’m waiting for the fall 2021 quints - especially the coral/blue green one. If that one actually drops this fall I’m purchasing it. I think if I were going to pick a blush from Hermes, it would be the Rose Poivre. It looks like the perfect pinky-nude. But they all look amazing. Definitely a better purchase than the Dior right now IMO.

Hi Erin! Great video as always! I would skip all the foundations, Hermès is out of my league but the blushes look beautiful. No lipsticks, yes to the Chanel, especially ultra tenue.. they are my go to with masks. Not sure about the new allure, cannot do any type of plumping..waiting for fall. Would hold out for those releases. Nothing for summer is jumping out at me💜

Erin, ah, all those new releases!!!lol I'm definitely skipping on new foundation as I still have a few unopened ones to go through. Lipsticks? Pass, or maybe just one new Chanel shade to check that new formula. I'll be waiting for your next video and swatches!!!;-) That Le Rouge Duo Tenue photo by Chicprofile shows the last summer ad, and this color Burning Red already exists. Now, let's talk about HERMES!! I will definitely try to get one blush from this collection. I'm interested in Rose Ombre, Rose Blush, Rose Abricot, or maybe even Rose Tan-would work more like a bronzer for me. Only a Marie Antoinette would buy every new product, in every new color. It guarantees waste. Keeping powder dry for something genuinely special is a great idea. Instead of haul marathons I enjoy seeing reviews of one or a few new products in context of older favorites. For example, how does a foundation compare with 2-3 similar-ish foundations, so we get a better idea exactly how the new one is different? Even knowing more about the brand's shade selection (fewer deep/fair options; shades tilt yellower than X brand, etc) is helpful. I also appreciate your mentioning great older products, period. If we only talk about the new launches, some outstanding products will get discontinued for no good reason. We won't be able to keep our go-to favorites.
