i need to talk about the way you draw the two??? just- they aren't generically handsome, they're gangly and hooknosed and Old Man and that's so GOOD! they aren't action protags, they aren't lady killers, they aren't YOUNG anymore and they haven't been for a while, and something about that just lends to the softness of it. they aren't romance novel protagonists on their grandly beautiful adventure, they just... are. Stumbling into something like love entirely incidentally over decades. it's just real in that sense

I've listened to this song for years (it has a lot of personal meaning to me) and I just now realized the lyrics fit Narumitsu so well. I almost cried when I saw the title, it was really exciting. And the animatic was just beautiful, and the details about the hands??? The YEARNING.. EVERYTHING.. It was so heartwarming to see them kinda nervously hold hands at the end.
