You know, knowing how Wright acts to others, this makes even more sense. Like, Edgeworth is one of the few people who can see through Wright's constant bullshit and bluffs and hiding stuff from everyone like he did in Appolo Justice, which on its own is a great look at how good of a lawyer Wright would be if he had more than three fucking days and didn't need to bluff to get extensions. Like, bruv didn't even tell Mia, his mentor, why he was taking on a murder trial for his first go around as a lawyer, he is not open about stuff, we just see his thoughts most of the time.

This is the most perfect representation of these two I have ever seen and I will be accepting it all as canon, thank you very much. Absolute work of art. I will be watching it five more times.
