When your laughter gets stuck in your throat . _ . Maru and Yoshiko know each other since their kindergarden days, so I guess Maru knows such situations... Kotori and her letter - and Umi finally doing the talk (in opposite to Kanan in S2 ep1, right?). Kotori running away not for the first time - and I guess Umi "fixed" the situation before Nozomi and the others were "available". Honk going apeshit - the group collapses and is "unavailable", Umi has again to offer a reconciliation...while playing a big role in Honk's outburst herself as we know... And this is why I wonder: The "thirdies" know each other since their early days...why are Kanan and Dia talking this way then? Don't they know that Mari would feel dismissed? Or is this the difference between "know each other" and "truly become familiar with each other"? (Is this the meaning of the flashbacks, esp the "haggu" flashback scene before the fountain? "Light fountain" = "Sweets Shop Homura" reference - Mari final crying resembles Homura Akemi's one when she shoots Madoka's gem in ep10 PMMM. And by "(Kyoko) Sakura Sweets Fair" they're even giving us the big sis reference...) Becoming familiar...unfamiliar scene...even reminds me to an Evangelion sequence: "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" - Ritsuko "I'm sorry, no excuse!" - Misato, who was again too late. Again a short laughing fit of mine that turned out to be really short, since it was Rei vs. Armisael.
