To Japanese speakers (including me) her self-introduction completely makes sense and is also grammatically flawless, however sounds not perfectly fluent because of a lot of desu uses. It's overly used in some cases, for example a desu is not necessarily required to be added to "hai desu!". This kind of usage sounds childish, which makes her much more cuter. I think that's why.
