Loved your rendition of love vs arranged and concept of love evolving through age ....I agree mostly to it so no issues...except for one...When we made commitment to each other...decided we will try and convince the two families but in case we do not succeed, chances were pretty high for that though ....we will have to go ahead and honor our commitments...because you can not make everyone happy at the same time...at times you need to listen to your head as well. This priceless advice was from my Dad...and I was ready for it.... In my case though the families agreed and wedding was planned, but it drained me(may be both of us) emotionally and physically. But we fought our individual battles without passing on the stress to the other one...and then the Tom and Jerry game started ...called marriage...two people diametrically opposite in most of our choices in life besides food, travel and laughter,....we have survived 23 long years...and that is life...so beyond a point love or arranged does not matter,....but initially it matters...as in love marriages, you know each other to some extent and have no expectation from others...while in arranged marriage too many stakeholders...and for some there are scapegoats to dump the onus of running a coordinated life...Given a chance will go in for love marriage all over again...Take care and Happy Anniversary wishes in advance.

Thanks for sharing your love story with all of us. In contrast, mine is a bit different. We met on the first day of college, back in 2008 became friends and soon fell in love. After a couple of months we both knew we will get married no matter what. I went on to pursue my MBA and he started working it was very hectic and long-distance relationship but we knew we have to work it out. I am glad we convinced our parents after strong resistance from my side which went on for 8 years. Finally they agreed and last year we both tied the knot. I have loved every moment of my courtship with this great guy who is not only my friend, but my biggest support system, my pillow to fall back on after a failure and what not. I hope we are able to take this life together with all its hardships and be in love till our last breath. Thanks again dear. Have a great day !!

Hi Suchi, the way you talk and explain things with so much maturity that one should fall in love with you. I can listen to your voice for hours dear. You are so simple, mature, understanding and down to earth which are so rare in today's fancy showoff world. I like you and gets positive vibes from you always.. Mine is arranged marriage of 12 years happily. I am not that matured like you but by grace of God my husband is very understanding, matured, practical, loving n caring person n full of positiveness which slowly making me mature like him...
