And arranged marriage is a nice idea, I think, but with our parents' way, it's all very rushed and quick, and they even force their kids. Which doesn't end in happy married life. Also remember, no divorce doesn't mean happy marriage. I've seen many cases where the marriage stays just because of societal pressure and sometimes even financial issues. This doesn't mean that I'm saying divorce is right, or love marriage is always right, I just mean, marriage should come after a long time of knowing each other, after both parties consent for the marriage, and should be an overall happy event. Not something like OK, this marriage is going to take away most of my freedom, but I don't want the responsibilities, but my parents told me to do this, so I'mma marry this stranger.
