About 7 years ago I was 15 when I heard this, I had watched this over and over again and carefully listened and learned your lessons you posted on goliath guitar tutorials and spent at least 3 weeks perfecting it and exactly how you played this masterpiece and it gave me the courage to play this in front of my whole school as it was my first time playing in front of a large crowd I will never forget the feeling of that day on stage and all the compliments from everyone it was the first time in my life I felt good and confident that hard work and consistency pay off, in the end, thank you for teaching me and all the other lessons you have posted throughout the years and letting me make memories of your interpretations.

Mr Gareth , I've been watching your vids for the past 2 years or so. My father never really taught me anything extensive in playing a guitar cause he told me I can learn the Guitar If I wanted to. (without crucial knowledge onto playing a guitar) I was already fascinated by Fingerstyle guitar music ( I can't even Play chords properly and mesmerize its letter). At first I can't read notes nor tabs so I learned by watching videos and staring at their fingers, pausing it second by second Until I finally got it. So I got upon your page (I was happy cuz I can read no tabs) and Learned "River flows in you" in about a 2 weeks or less without reading the tabs but by listening to your voice. After River flows in you I learned "Let it go" less than a week. So there... after 2 months of playing a Guitar after I discovered your channel. I finally can play fingerstyle in guitar without hassle and can read tabs. I can learn a whole fingerstyle song composition in less than 3-5 days thanks to you. you really helped me. I don't usually upload vids but now I do :) you inspired me. Keep on the great videos!

Melbourne just simply touch the string not too hard but all you gotta do is to touch it gently that it will not sound mute and then pluck it with your thumb. Hope this helps
