I somehow managed to make it without a 9 to 5....my father ran his own construction business, watching him get up at 4AM and got to work with a smile and come back covered in dirt - still smiling showed me it is possible to work for yourself. The money went up and down sometimes (as does mine, I am a frelancer but I havenot had the 'Sunday Scaries" ever and I am not stressed by work. Life is going to be tough no matter what, EVRYTHING has a price.

I was worried about his answer for a second until they connected on the timeline. Working without any fulfillment whatsoever is difficult even in the short term. In the long term, outside fulfillment does nothing to stave off the soul crushing nature of going to a job you hate every day.

I retired at 52 and wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind steals your freedom for a paycheck.[peanuts] btw my advice is If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for retirement now, in your 50s? Invest now and break free from relying on your job. Market trends like the Trump Effect have made millions for many including me. Stay focused and consistent!

Exactly My point! The 9to5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?

Working with Lorrie Greta Hillard, a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.
