Too many options, pls stick w nursing. Being broke n poor is no fun. Nursing has so much potential. This happens when life is too comfortable. I wonder if she is dependent on family members. She needs to push through.

Most employees are invisible. They probably noticed something is wrong after she didn’t clock in for several days. Most employers check in only when they are trying to figure out why the WORK isn’t getting done. It’s been this way since I started my work life at 16 years old and now I’m 55 years old. I just wonder if she had family that had missed her but it sounds like she didn’t because my husband and son would notice I didn’t make it home on day one.

My brother-in-law passed away at his computer repair shop working on a computer late at night. When his business partner came in the next morning, he called out to him, was making small talk as he was going through the office taking care of things, and it took him a bit of time to realize that he was actually dead and felt horrible that he'd not realized it instantly, but he was just hunched over like he was working and hyper focused. :-(

If she died on Friday, and wasnt discovered until Tuesday, that is more than 3 days. She began decomposition upon death. She started stinking on day 3. They found her then. There would have been a puddle of bodily fluids under her. How is this missed? The office was possibly closed on the weekend. Where were the cleaning crews, security?

Work sucks. Men never worked because they liked it. I'm sure some men like work but most men don't because most work sucks. Men worked for money so they had an oppertunity to get pussy. Pussy is off the table. Family is off the table. Legacy is off the table. Men won't work just for the sake of working. We are not worker bees. We are not worker ants. We are humans. If you take away a mans motivation to be productive then he won't do it.

Ever since covid, most people at the building I work at, work from home. Recently the company decided to consolidate the few that still come in. The 3rd floor is empty now, they all work from the 2nd floor.

This story is truly heart-wrenching. It is a sad reality that as we age, we often find ourselves less checked on by co-workers, friends, and even family members. We must strive to improve as a society.

It's really sad when engineering jobs are being outsourced and replaced with AI. So Americans are no longer going to be innovators, we're going to be repair techs. This makes me sad. Long gone are the days of innovation and growth.

I’m an AI architect…..at current state of technology, AI can only do 5% of jobs. However, you should still learn how to use tools like ChatGPT to enhance your creativity and productivity. It will go a long way to make your career more future proof. AI can’t create anything new and is not capable of complex human problem solving and empathy. In areas of automating repetitive tasks across an organization and business forecasting…..it’s over.

40 to 100 is to narrow. If one is making 40 then they are having trouble eating, paying rent and utilities. at 100k you have an old car, small home, food, utilities, and insurance but you can't save.

That first line manager piece really hit hard Those are the first ones to go after they let go of the low wage hourly workers because those are the jobs that generally pay better between 60 and 100,000 Those are the jobs where they would make the store manager or general manager work harder

Is there a narrow minded view on the labor force not taking into consideration the elite over production, which is also currently occurring with so many people with credentials qualifications in college degrees there may be job growth in the future for the likelihood of of those jobs commanding middle class salaries it’s not likely in the United States. We’re currently seeing that the employee has no bargaining power when it comes to salaries and too many employers want top talent for cheap low wage salaries

Corporations have been taking jobs overseas long, long long, long before AI could even formulate proper sentences. All AI does is take people who have certain skills and make them even more valuable, while taking people with average skills and making them less valuable.
