Spoiler alert ahead if you didn’t watch the last episode: He *already* met someone else. Lol. Just goes to show that joe is more like a lot of people than we might’ve thought ...... he finds what seems (at least to us) like the *perfect* person for him.... someone who knows and understands him more than anyone ....and accepts him .... but within a matter of months later she and even his coming baby *still* isn’t enough for him. I think this, more than anything, made me finally realize he is beyond redemption and is no longer a likable character to me. It was never about “love” for him....or even his twisted version of love. He will never be truly satisfied in a relationship or happy, because he prefers someone to love the man he wishes he was, behind lies, secrets, control, and pretending, rather than the man he really is. This is turning out to be some romantic version of dexter.... except at least dexter stayed likable. Let’s just hope it ends up with Joe dead instead of disappearing to be a wood worker.

I feel a lot of people don’t get that Joe is driven by his emotions. He is a protector. He believed he was in love with Love up until the point where he found out she was crazy. It shattered the image he had in his mind of her and how he needed to protect her. When he found out she was pregnant, he stays with her because his protective instinct kicked in. He HAS to care. He has to be there for his baby because that is his nature. He needs other people to feel like they can rely solely on him. He creates this idea in his mind of how he has to be the perfect man and be everything to someone. He needs to feel needed.

Love is not smarter or more evil than Joe she’s a mirror image of Joe. She is everything that Joe hates about himself. The thing he really hates about her is that she can get away with it due to her resources. And that those resources have allowed her to be at peace with who she is. She doesn’t feel bad about her kills because she did them for love. Joe justifies his kills as well, but he feels bad about them. He can’t accept what he has done because deep down he knows it’s wrong. Even though Love had only killed 2 people prior to meeting Joe…he doesn’t even admit to the part he played in her ( an already unstable person) becoming completely unhinged because he didn’t love her in the way that he promised. Love knew the monster that he was. She accepted him and her reward was being gaslight all season long. And you are crazy if you thought Joe was going to leave her peacefully. He knew it would end like this that’s why he planned for it. Just like when he knew Beck wouldn’t accept the monster that he was, and he made sure to plan for her murder before she was even dead.

Joe fell in love with an ugly librarian, and Joe killed her baby daddy that was making things difficult for her. Joe had brilliant idea to get a divorce, but it didn’t happen. Ugly librarian moved back to France. Joe ends up cutting off one of his toes, killing Love and making it appear that Love had killed Joe, cooked Joe in a pie and then killed herself by setting house on fire. Joe moved to England, became a professor under new alias. Joe kidnapped librarian, Joe killed a bunch of people. Librarian was able to escape. Joe with a filthy rich woman that was able to make all legal problems go away, and Joe now rich and in public as Joe

The reason behind Joe's near kill of Love imo is because she killed Delilah. Not the fact she was a killer, the fact that it was Delilah she killed. Joe spent a night with Delilah that ended in them having sex, and Joe seems to have really bonded with her. I mean he was willing to leave the USA forever and start anew in Mexico so that he wouldn't have to kill her to stay out of jail .. That shows how deeply he cares about her and Ellie (though he had no right to imprison her either tbf, but still the fact that he'd rather have such a big life change than Delilah die still shows a lot of consideration for her I'd say). And then Love killed someone he cared that deeply about. This aggressive attempted murder was done because Love murdered Joe's friend. . This can also be seen by when Love comes back from killing Candace and Joe sees the blood on her hands, he isn't angry. But then she tells him "you didn't kill Delilah - I did" and that's what triggers the hypocritical rage attack he then has at her. . I'm not trying to justify it, what he did here was wrong. I'm just trying to explain why he did it. . EDIT: Also just noticed a parallel. Love killed Delilah *in the cage by slitting her throat*. Joe tries to kill Love *in the cage by slitting her throat*. It's symbolism, "an eye for an eye" as the old saying goes..

Joe killed so many people and feels no remorse. He may feel SOME regret about Candice and Beck because we saw him being haunted by their images (back when he thought that Candice was dead) but not enough to give himself up to the police. I hope this series ends with him being instatutionalized. She wasn't what he thought she was. His fantasy of her was shattered. And plus she killed Delilah and was going to frame Ellie for Henderson murder. We see that Joe cared abt them both and she basically killed one and set up the other one to go to jail. The whole show was basically him looking out for Delilah and Ellie so this seems to be a genuine reaction

After going and watching episode 9 again, its crazy watching Love cook with Ellie when she just murdered her sister. When she asks how long they've been alone in LA, Love looks like shes going to collapse. This is a show I need to watch twice.

Joe’s character is impulsive. He is driven by his emotions. He is a protector. As soon as he found out how crazy Love actually was, it shattered the image in his mind about her. Since he is a protector, he had to eliminate her to protect Ellie.

Doesn't it seem weird how Love waited until the very last second to tell Joe that she is pregnant. If she was really having Joe's baby, why would she hide it at all from him, psycopathic killer or otherwise that she is revealed to be. And it seems pretty obvious that she would tell Joe that it was his baby even if it was Milo's considering he is holding a handcuff to her throat.

I love the contrast in season 3. 2 psychotic killers in “love” that don’t trust each other but pretend too. Love planned from the beginning of season 3, to kill Joe. Joe picked up on it and had a plan. We the audience didn’t know, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s just amazing attention to detail that really drives the individual perspectives of Joe and Love

It’s not Milo’s kid. Love wouldn’t have acted so rash if so. She’s so crazy over him, that she would want his kid; no one else’s. What’s even more wild is how she clearly addressed to her friends that she was using Milo. Adding to it, the intro scene with him shows him grabbing her spare key and entering with a hat on. She (Love) clearly staged that so Joe would see/follow
