Nice to see Dougray in a romance instead of an action flick. A solid performance. And always great to see Claire! Meet Joe Black and Shadows In The Sun come to mind. Actually very entertaining with some wonderful cameo performances and a genius move to bring Gordon Ramsey into it for a touch of authenticity. Plot was predictable but that’s part of the charm of romance movies. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie 🍿

ClearAdventure really put it well with "I really loved this. Very heartwarming and old school in a modern era. " .! totally agree. Went beyond expectations... to be honest this last food related romantic movies i 've seen where not very well made. There there are so many around that i did not want to begin after watching the "trailers". When i stumbled over this one i first thought it might be also that kind... but then were totally, positively surprised by the quality! Thank you for sharing this movie!

I love a good romp through the British countryside especially when there's food AND romance involved. I've never seen a movie with Claire Forlani in it that I didn't love at first glance. She has the power to make any man look lovable and her laugh brings tears to my eyes as she's so authentic. This movie was a bright spot in my day. I highly recommend it. Thanks for the upload!

I'm not sure if this is the fourth or fifth time I've watched this, and as much as I'd like to find something new, it's still a better option to watch again than think I've found something interesting until I get ten minutes in and realise I zoned out during the first scene, or wishing that I had zoned out sooner. I would love some seriously "sexy pudding" but this was definitely a seriously wonderful movie. Not to give anything away but I especially love the scene in the woods with the 🍾 of wine and I'll say no more. I'm not sure if this movie was done by a Britisher or by an American but it had all the elements of European and British movies that I adore which is kids that are NOT cursing their parents and acting like they know it all but actually love their parents and respect their parents and try to help their parents when they're in pain. It had nature and it had beautiful sunsets that they lingered on and I could stare forever at that particular clip as the sun🌇 set in the woods. Someone said the main characters were married so I can only assume they were both American or maybe both British-- it's a little hard to envision which it might be-- but they were very nice couple. A pretty woman but not too over-the-top and a good-looking bloke but not too rom-com fancy-- like Matthew McConaughey or Hugh Grant, back in the day😉. I grew to love the big sort of chunky mate of his and now I've finally see the attraction of some guys who look like that cuz he had a heart of gold and spoke words of wisdom. Enjoy😊 PS If this critique doesn't get you watching the movie then probably this movie is not for you but you might try the restaurant down the way. Let's see, is that Chilli's or is that Big Mac or is that, oh, dear🤔

I love a traditional English pub, like the Clifton Arms Hotel in Lytham St Anne's. Eating out in a nice restaurant is ultra expensive these days on the little island of Singapore. It'll set you back at least a couple of hundred bucks (after service charge and GST) for two. So I will just watch the gourmet food here with my wild imagination.
