Though I am not a Scot but trust me Scotland is beautiful and Scots are nice people. They also got the best fish and chip served with plenty of ketchup and homemade tartar sauce in a small town don't know how to pronounce. By the way it's a pity the film was not shot at the gorgeous Edinburgh Castle. It is just nearby. A bit sad.😂

The problem with Scotland according to this movie there is no Scots living in it going by the actors accents. Now that really bloddy pisses me off having English actors trying to pass off as Scots .

This film is supposed to centre on the Scottish aristocracy and the 'upper classes', who in Scotland have English accents, sometimes with a slight Scottish ring. That said, going by the rest of the film I wouldn't think there was much research done into authentic Scotland but they managed to get the accents right probably by default.

Haven't watched the movie yet, but I'm happy as long as they're not American actors trying to pass off as Scots. I do sympathize however; I'm Swedish. Guess how many times they get OUR accent right. 😆 Seriously though, these movies have to be watched with a huge amount of suspension of disbelief. They're made strictly for the feelgood factor - not for accuracy.

Amazing how she can lose her purse (British English = handbag) with passport etc. and yet the same evening walk around Edinburgh with a handbag clearly visible. As for a castle in Scotland owned by kilt-wearing Scots flying the Union Jack ( Flag of Great Britain) and not the Scottish flag, it's nonsense and would never happen.

Can’t understand why Blair wasn’t upfront with the male lead character at the beginning that she worked in the perfume business, instead of deceiving him and pretending to be there to film a documentary, and drawing out the deception for so long especially as he liked her a lot. The female lead’s immaturity and dishonesty prevented my overall enjoyment of the movie.

In my opinion, the script is interesting. I like Christmas movies and the photography is beautiful, but I don't like seeing a woman with such childish and clumsy attitudes. Maybe the actress's performance is weak.

Please, put Christmas movies in Spanish. Having Christmas movies dubbed into Spanish on this channel would be cool, too.
