Novel Synopsis:
After working in Milan, the fashion capital, for three years, I returned home with my daughter, hoping to surprise Jeff.
However, I discovered that there was already another woman in the house.
I angrily accused him of cheating, and he viciously retorted that I was the one who had cheated…
In the hotel staff dormitory, I caught Jeff in bed with another woman.
He doubted his own eyes, especially since I had video called him from abroad just 14 hours earlier to say goodnight.
"Anne, how come you returned so suddenly?"
"I took annual leave specifically to come back and surprise you, but instead, you surprised me like this."
Seeing Jeff in the hotel felt like being drenched in cold water from head to toe.
I could hardly believe that the man I had given my all to could treat me this way.

If you have a public facing job, reputation is also important!!! See it from the hotel managers position - You manage a (family oriented?) hotel and then there is an employee who openly sleeps with one ("Who says it was just one...?") married man on hotel grounds, if this gets public ("Who says it was just one...?") then the revenue WILL deteriorate, so it is easier to let that one woman go.... Same goes especially for jobs in state owned enterprises.....
