Lovely insight into the couples life, Niyu and Abhi! Though it sank my heart to realize that out of the 3 pointers, one was that "even their wedding expenses were divided 50-50". Made me sad that such a thing needs to be expressed and cherished in the first place! That is something that NEEDS to be an unwritten rule, BY DEFAULT!! I really hope younger people getting married take it upon themselves and bring such a social change! Yes, there are few communities in India that have this rule by default, but being in a wedding industry, I've seen so many weddings which do not follow this rule at all!
