Ну, наконец-то! Спасибо, Лана, за просмотр! Смотрите в удовольствие! Ну, а теперь скажите - ведь фильм не смотрели, а теперь вроде и смотрели. Сюжет раскрыт, музыка всё усилила и подчеркнула. Единственное, я не помню, отец у него был против этого брака и оставил его босиком. Поэтому пришлось им терпеть лишения. Вот этой причины, возможно нет в клипах.

I remember watching this movie in Paris in December. I was there during my 5 day pass as a soldier. I was walking around streets of Paris few days before Christmas, feeling lonely, and I happen to walk by this small movie theater which was playing this movie. It was an old classic movie by then, but I think French are very romantic people. As I was watching this old film, I thought to myself how beautiful it would be to share this experience with a beautiful girl. As a soldier, I only knew about the harsh realities of military life back then, so I wondered can love like this even exist in this ugly world. As I was walking out that old movie theater after film ended, I saw this beautiful young French girl crying. Tears were streaming down her lovely face. That really moved me and wanted to reach out to her but I felt that I would be intruding in her very private moment, so I just watched her walk away into the darkness of the night. To this day, whenever I listen to this sad and sweet song, I think about her. I never thought of myself as a sentimental type, but I guess I am.

Beverly, that’s because love just happens. You don’t plan it. Like a Cupid’s arrow it pierces your heart when you least expect it. It is neither convenient nor conforms to societal expectations. And it happens to men too. I have fallen with girls who betrayed me with other guys or she was so emotionally damaged from her previous experiences, that she couldn’t love anyone, even though I loved her deeply with all my heart.
