My son and his wife met with a hello at college, got married with a small simple celebration during Covid, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer, called sarcoma few months after their wedding, went thru 3 major surgeries and chemo, he has been on her side and holding her when she was weak and in despair, and she has been supporting him in her special way to keep him strong. Love keep them strong through the headwinds. "Love Story"was a pure love movie, yet I see in real life. Please pray for her recovery with God's mercy.

❤❤That's SO heartwarming! My mother always taught piano, and when the movie came out, ALL of her students wanted to learn this! I had to teach myself as usual even tho I was 11 😄😄. How I came across you is because my sister and I were reminiscing Ryan O'Neal movies when learning he died today. The SECOND the piano started playing my heart gave a LEAP and all those memories of the movie, the music, sitting at the piano, everything came back! I miss my wife. We met in medical school. She was a Navy scholarship student. I said that although I did not know where our relationship would end but we were in love and we married as we graduated from medical school both of us initially as junior officers. We have a difficult but a wonderful life in the Navy. When we transferred from Japan to DC (after deployments) she had a seizure. She was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and when she passed and was buried with full honors in Arlington National Cemetery in 2014. To this day I ask the Lord what next. He states keep moving forward and we will be reunited. I trust him.

I was in high school when I watched this wonderful movie! I remember that I cried a lot and since then I really liked straight hair like Ali. She was so beautiful!! She is still beautiful. I bought the DVD recently with this movie and I feel the same thing when I am watching: crying. I think not everyone has the chance to find the true love in this life. I always wanted,I thought i found it, but after years i realized that my husband doesn't have the same feelings for me and that was very painful. Right now we are divorcing after 27 years. This is the life. We have to survive and to realize that God has a plan for each of us, even though sometimes it is very difficult to accept. For those who found real love i am happy for them! The first time I watched this film in 1986, I was a medical student at that moment. I cried lots at the end of the film and thought how was serious of blood cancer. Finally, I became a haematologist after 8 years and I recognized that not all of people could receive the treatment because its cost was still too high. I could not pass my grief every time I saw my patients were worse days by days. I haven’t stopped my tear coming out anytime I heard this song.

Музыка и фильм на века!Помню,как 40 лет назад,я купила какой-то музыкальный журнал и там была виниловая пластика, влюкчила проигрыватель и.. как удар молнии, такая пронизываюшая мелодия, мягкий заворвживающий мужской голос,в котором было столько трагизма! И, каждый раз, когда слушаю эту мелодию,тем более посмотрев этот фильм, опять этот восторг и грусть щемящая,и воспоминания...!

Dame Shirley came through on another film song. Ryan and Ali had great chemistry. A wonderful love story, romance, script, visuals. No titillating teases. No CGI, no fantasy. Down-to-earth reality. As the saying goes, Hollywood "has lost that loving feeling...."

This is a beautiful film in many ways I remember it way back when I saw it maybe mid 70s as a kid. Next went on with life forgot all about it and about 10 years later I had the real experience of this film. So for many years could not watch anything remotely like it or anything with sentiment in it. Finally kind of shelved it, now I watch these films again. It is amazing how powerful these films can be but strangely more powerful to me when I was a teenager . Anyway have to say it was a very well done movie
