I saw this movie years ago and it just showed up on the bottom of the screen with other movies and videos. I dn't know it was this movie so I started watching it. When they met the old man in the grocery store I remembered. The relationship between the older man and her daughter was great! Nikki Deloche is a great actress. I've seen a lotta movies with her and Andrew Walker. They have great on-screen chemistry.

Given that this is the US, with literally no job security, and correspondingly, no obligation to leave notice (although 2 weeks is considered fair). Why would the pilot be reluctant to take a regular employment? This doesn't make sense to me. Even in Europe, where one months notice is usually in the employment contract, that's not particularly long, especially since he's in his 40s? How unchained does he need to be?

Also, for kidneys, living donation is more common and also cheaper and safer, avoiding time criticality by moving the donor, performing both operations at the same hospital.
