I kayak fish in Naples Florida. Every now and then same thing happens to me. It gets my adrenaline pumping every time. I know they hardly ever want anything to do with people but still puts me on edge for awhile and I will also watch the gator or gators closely for awhile. Have you had any trouble with them personally? I haven’t just always catches me off guard even when I’m expecting to see them.

I’ve never had an issue with them. I just try to stay vigilant and do my best to steer clear of them when possible.
