Three things I love about this song/video: 1. Chance does a superb little bass run at the very beginning that you would swear is an actual bass guitar 2. Adam's kick drum. It is big and booming and mesmerizing 3. The compression they use on Austin's counterpoints that make him sound like an AM radio. Bonus: City Slicker Adam Chance is an utter delight!

I grew up without indoor plumbing. The nearest town was over 30 miles away, in the 50s. There was a small general store that only had staples, flour, rice, and some luxury items like mayo, small jars, and 10 ounce cokes, for a nickel. To e luxury is a house with indoor bathrooms. I am 72.

This song as Home Free performs it is really a celebration of finding the things you love and grooving on them. The original isn't so much, more making fun of those who didn't grow up in the country culture. Yes, Austin's eyes really are that blue.

In addition to the two mentioned in a previous comment, "Everybody Walkin' This Land" is another one where both Austin and Adam's eyes really pop. I think it's largely the outdoor lighting that does so much to bring out the lighter eyes. If you do that one be sure to watch through the outro, though.

I relate to this song massively. I grew up on a farm and am a country girl to the core. Still live in a small tight knit country town and hang out with a bunch of cow town people doing a lot of what you see in this video. I LOVE Home Free and everything they do. They are AWESOME !!!!!

I love watching your reactions to HF's videos and I may have already commented something but I just caught you asking about Austin's eyes and if they're really that blue because it doesn't seem real. I'm 1 of 5 (living) kids and there's not a one of us that has the same color eyes. I have 2 brothers that died as babies so not sure what their eye color would have been. But my mom had dark brown and my dad has hazel. My sister has gray - and they change colors depending on what she's wearing - my brothers (in order) have hazel, dark brown and the bluest of blue you've ever seen! (I have grass green). Everyone would ask him if he had contacts in because his eyes are the prettiest of baby blue you could ever imagine. Both my grandmother's had blue eyes, my dad's mom's being this bright sky blue. I don't know about Austin, I've seen him up close in a few vids but don't think I ever noticed his eye color before.

On the subject of the Superman disguise, if you watch this video again, and/or the Chris Reeves Superman movies, you will see 3 parts of it. Glasses, yes, especially those big dark frames. Hair style, yes, usually a more careless style for the Confident one. The biggest part though, body language. The Chris Reeves Superman movies capture this perfectly, but if you watch the subtle changes in Chance's posture and body language, that communicates so much. If you watch the Might as Well Be Me, and Everybody Walking This Land back to back, you can see it too.

THEY ARE THAT BLUE!! I just saw them this past Saturday in Connecticut and I was fortunate enough to do a meet and greet! Let me tell you his eyes are like ice blue they are gorgeous!! First time I've actually heard this, perfect for Tim (Texas), Austin (Georgia), Chance (Alabama) to do this Okie boy's song! I had to explain to my husband, who grew up in St Louis, why Bubba is prominent around the south. And I also love that Tim said he had to 'translate' Austin speak to the other guys when he first joined (he told that story in a Story Time with Tim.) because his Georgia accent was so thick Adam, Chris, and Rob being from Minnesota weren't quite used to that. 😁🤣

When I watched Blake Shelton’s/Trace Adkins video of their original, I loved it and immediately thought of how much fun it would be if Home Free would cover it! Of course, my dream came true not much longer afterwards! This was so much fun to watch, and see how much you enjoyed it! I’m a city girl, myself and could not see myself living on a farm getting up at 4 or 5 am every morning to feed chickens and milk cows, and other farm chores! lol Watching these amazing guys was loads of fun, especially seeing Chance needing out! Rob's wife Kelsey is also in the video. She's in dark coveralls and a white shirt and can be seen dancing next to the long-haired woman. Another reactor was watching the BTS video from their From The Vault series, and he was watching it right after Rob and Austin had released their beautiful cover of Nessun Dorma.
