Home Free fans probably wouldn't mind the guys going on vacation with Patreon money, but Home Free is respectful of their fans and their money. When Home Free sang with Kenny Rogers on his album, they were supposed to be on a late night network show with Kenny and perform with him. This was a major break for their career performing on a popular national TV show with a major star. Home Free left early to take a flight to be on the show. The flight was cancelled. Not to worry, they got on another plane with plenty of time. The plane didn't take off due to mechanical failure. Desperate to appear on the show, the guys chartered a private jet so they could be on time to be on the show. After they chartered the jet, they received word that their appearance was cancelled. They asked the charter company if they could have their money refunded since they hadn't even gotten on the plane.. The charter company didn't give back refunds due to the cost of reserving a pilot and other costs. No charter company gives refunds. Kenny Rogers offered to have them meet him backstage at the show. Since they couldn't cancel the private jet, they went on to meet Kenny. They spent quite a while with Kenny who gave them career advice. Home Free didn't have the ten thousand dollars that this little disastrous adventure had costed. They had had used a credit card. Some of their fans suggested Home Free ask help from their fans with the cost. Reluctantly Home Free asked help from their fans. It was the only time that Home Free had ever asked for help from their fans. Amazingly, in a matter of hours, the Home Fries responded and raised ten thousand dollars. That is one of the reasons Home Free considers the Home Fries to be the best fans ever. Home Free and their fans have a special relationship.

yes, Rob's whistling is EPIC, love it !! This video just makes you want to go down and hang out and party with them. I agree, they can use the money to go on vacation anytime they want to. They DO deserve it. And if they produce songs like this while they are at it, ...ALL the better.! I love this one because you see them with their friends and families and you get a glimpse of their home life. So personal. Thanks for checking this one out.

I think the chickens being so completely randomly and unexpected just there while they were filming is the reason they made it into the video - because "what the hell why not" 😅. It fits the boys so well.

There are feral chickens randomly all over Grand Cayman. You even see them at the airport as you exit. I understand that they escape during tropical storms or hurricanes.

This video is one of the only times you’ll see Adam’s wife on video. She’s rarely filmed. So much fun. I loved Austin kissing the sting ray. I heard Tim on an interview say he wants to scuba dive more and learn to deep dive….that kinda freaks me out! Such a fun video and it looks like they had a blast. I don’t think that’s Beugs (Rob’s friend) though. It didn’t look like him but others will know. Good reaction always DJ!🥰

It's funny that I just saw Garth Brooks again a few nights ago. He's still got it at his age. Phenomenal performer and he did this song and it was amazing. This might be one of the most famous U.S. country songs ever. I really loved your reaction today. Home Free turned it into a reggae song, which is great. Regarding the name you can't pronounce. I thought it was pronounced BEEE-YOU-GZ. But I actually don't know for sure, so I really can't help you there lol. P.S. I have a 13-year-old redheaded son. You need to spray LOTS of sunscreen on the redheads like Austin. The fair skin is really a thing. Trust me. lol. ........................ Oh, ALSO ---- In America, Key West, Florida has chickens on the beach. My hubs is in the US Coast Guard and was deployed there for a bit, and he told me that chickens are running around everywhere in Key West. They might be filming there. I don't know. Much love to you

This is Grand Cayman. Stingray City, and Hell, and Coconut Joe's. We went to those places when my daughter had her Wish Trip. When Peter Hollens and Tim Foust did Misty Mountains, Tim was filming in Hell on Grand Cayman. (I think Peter was somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.) Anyway, both songs were released 7 years ago, so it looks like Tim especially made good use of his time. And yes, there are a lot of feral chickens there. I was told they get loose when a hurricane comes through.

This was in the Cayman Islands. While they were there, Tim went to a place called "Hell" and filmed his half of "Misty Mountains" with Peter Hollens. Buegs is short for "Buegler" which is pronounced like a person who plays the bugle, so it's just byoogs, no r and no g-pronounced-as-j.

Rob's friend's name is Eric Beugler, nickname Beugs. Think Bee-yoo-gs. When the five guys are sitting in the beach chairs in a line, both with long ponytails, skinny ankles, and shades, Adam and Austin look more like brothers to me than Adam and Chris. The guy on the boat in the red shirt when they all fall into the water is Steven Martinez. I'm sure of it. And Tim should be spraying Austin with tanning lotion, not sun protection. That boy's torso is blinding WHITE!!!
