I can't seem to find the version of Doxology we sang. It was an upbeat version super easy to sing a capella.

It was at camp Poland Ontario Canada outside Hopetown.

Love the parts! Would you be willing to share the arrangement?
@jordanhenare70682 жыл бұрын
This is a Canon. So if you can listen to one of the singers, you can almost perform the arrangement other than the two part harmony at the beginning which I believe the male part is a 4th below, and then at the end its 3rd - melody - 4th (roughly). But if you can learn the melody by singling out one singer, you can learn this arrangement, because for the middle you just have part one start the melody, then 16 beats part 2 starts on the same "love" note and sings the exact same thing as part 1 just did, and then repeat for part 2 -> 3. Hopefully that makes sense!

Can anyone tell me who are the three people in this video?
@jacobforaker6222 Жыл бұрын
This version is significantly better: Do not sing “all of mankind”, sing “all mankind” in the first part. In the second, the same, we sing we have “Jesus Christ to give”, and it’s not “in him we abide” because that doesn’t flow or sound right at all. Instead, we sing “because it’s in the way we love” and “love” leads right into singing the next line/repeating. It’s a much better flow.

Swag Mcfresh I used to sing it in bible camp when I was a young boy 30 years ago. First Baptist church Lloydminister Saskatchewan would be able to tell you if anyone.

@@a.k.a.watchmenwakeup Thank you. Very cool. I first heard it 10 years ago at a Christian sailing program in Victoria, British Columbia. I suppose I could swing by First Baptist and ask, next time I'm passing through Saskatchewan. It's been stuck in my head for the past 10 years, and I can't find an official version anywhere, or where it came from.
@a.k.a.watchmenwakeup5 жыл бұрын
Swag Mcfresh I bet the instructor used to be a counsellor at the bible camp I used to go to when I was a kid. He also taught me how to sail. I can’t remember his name.
