@@lindathomas5500 that's horrible and awful for you, it really is, I've lost so many people in death as well, my Daddy being the first when I was very young ( 7 ), so I do know what it's like, the absolute pain, may Jehovah God be with you and comfort you, All the dead will be resurrected again in the future, death is not supposed to be, that Is why we mourn so badly for those we love so much. In the bible, Rev. 21 verses 3 and 4 , says : ... and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, & death will be no more, nor outcry or pain be any more, all these things will have passed away. / I hope I've not offended you in any way by saying this to you, but it's my true belief, and I really hope you look into it yourself when you get a bit of time, best wishes to you, xx

They had a cracking team of actors in those days, Arthur with his string one liners, Jacko with his ‘I’ll have half’, think it worked well, would like to have seen more of Arthur’s wife, liked the cabinet that was designed for square tins, as just couldn’t get any better in tv’s hall of comedy fame 🤪.

@carolineg18724 жыл бұрын
@@PreservationEnthusiast That's the point of the show, it was a barometer of the times like most UK shows. The intelligent view will see that both Eddie and Bill are as racist as each other but it does make the character of Eddie look the way he meant to look, insulting and narrow minded which was the attitude of some of the UK. Probably most of the UK tbh. And Eddie came out the loser in most episodes. Other shows Chips and Curry, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Til Death Do Us Part....all in the same vein.

I'd tell him straight, "ARE YOU ECK AS LIKE" I'll give him "Up United" as I grimace & frown upon him whilst brandishing my rolling pin make no mistake 🤪. He'll absolutely 💩 himself.
