I definitely really like this version. I prefer seeing more drawings than a few detailed ones, when it comes to other peoples characters. I might even start submitting my own again since it ups the chances of my character getting chosen a bit.

I like this, but it's also nice to have more details. Maybe you could do an hour for each drawing instead? Or having a goal of 45 minutes, but you can go over if you feel like you need to? Still keeping the time shorts to prevent being nitpicky and being able to draw more characters, but still being able to add more details. I do like that they're just headshots, as well

Woah, how can you do these amazing pics in less than the time it takes me to do just a sketch? XD I do think the speed art is a good way to do this. Even if they are not perfect, there's already plenty of detail and even shading and effects so they have a lot of personality as they are, plus it gives a bit of extra chance for people to get theirs included

Love the video! Both formats are acceptable! I always love seeing rendered illustrations but I also like the fact we get to see more of other's characters! You could do both formats though! Like maybe you do your usual format first and for the next one do the time limited format, I send my submission on email because it felt easier to do.

I personally like both formats! Although I'd maybe suggest trying something in between? 45 minutes can be a really short amount of time and I think upping it to one hour could help fit in more details but still keep the charm of not spending hours on one single piece!

I really like this process as well! And I actually think that this more sketchy kind of line work because of the 45 minute limit really fits your artstyle! The ice elf guy, reminds me of my Blood Elf Frost Death Knight, Camus. Who is based off of Camus from Uta no Prince-sama. (Who is also voiced by same JP voice as Zhongli, Tomoaki Maeno.). I loved how you drew the ice elf. I can image how Camus would look in your style. His hair can be tricky to draw as well.

Selfishly, I prefer the two characters per video. When I eventually have a reference for my characters, I hope to see them in your painterly style, and there’s no way you can do that in 45 minutes. I also would really like to see what you do with their personalities. Selflessly, setting that time limit for yourself allows more people to have their character drawn, which is a really wonderful thing, if they are satisfied. Analytically, I enjoy watching both types of videos! I wish you the best of luck with the Pariah plushies!

However I also like seeing you do more in-depth or complicated pieces instead of just headshots, so I would still prefer if you did your usual drawing OC's format most of the time :)

I really hope you get to 100 buyers! Pariah is so adorable and I'd love to support the campaign but I've been out of a job for so long I just don't have the funds to splurge in things like a plush 😭 I thought about getting her when it was first announced but the fact of the matter is, I don't know that much about her character. I hate to say it bc you already have so much merch from My Next-door Neighbors, but there's a chance that your plush would have been more successful had it been someone we're more familiar with like Doris or someone else from that series.

I really liked this video format for the OCs, throughout the video I had nervous excitement coursing through my veins wondering whether you were going to draw my OC, mine didn't make it into this video, but I had this captivating feeling with it just wondering if it would be, so I had no want to click off the video. You might find it strange, but I kinda liked the feeling, it's different than how you normally do it, where I usually know mine wasn't drawn just from the thumbnail, I still usually watch every one, but this one was just really fun to watch, a little more than the others.

Even when you drew 8 characters, none of mine made it in... I've been submitting charas since the video with Lightning the wolf/fox who plays the drums. I always hope you'll be able to choose my character but it has not happened for YEARS and I feel like it will never happen, so I'll just stop submitting them and getting my hopes up. I think this new format might be better for content. It adds a challenge element to the videos which might incentivise people to watch. For people who don't often watch your content or have submitted a character, the video concept "drawing your ocs" wouldn't be as appealing because they aren't familiar with you or the characters you're drawing, but adding a time limit makes it more interesting for a general audience.
