I hear you, when you are a lone believer amongst non believers it can be very hard. But keep in mind that Allah is in control and He hears your Dua and knows your situation, and all that is accounted for in His judgement of you. Put your trust in Allah and make intention and dua to do what is halaal and Allah will answer your Dua in ways that you could not have imagined. Also, I don't know you, but keep in mind that, often our life plans are those dictated by the banks you rule our society. The usual life plan of 'get a qualification to get a job to get a house, a car, a holiday' is just an advert they have repeated so many times that it has become 'culture', but it's really just a debt trap, starting with the student loan.

If you're struggeling with mas*urbation - Make Dua everyday, start fasting on mondays and thursdays (it's sunna on these days), you can fast everyday if you are really struggeling (and think about fasting your eyes, ears and thoughts too), read at least one Sura from the Qur'An everyday, and concentrate on not wasting your time on your phone / computer everyday - limit your time, limit the content you are watching and get rid of your triggers that the shaytan holding for you! Fasting is very hard to maintain when you work. The problem is not even masturbation when it is so unbearable that we as men risk even (zina), then it is ok. The problem is porn. Further the women of today have too much exptencies that an ordinary man can not guarantee (house, money the list is endless). The solution for every healthy young man working is marriage. I am in the same situation. Normally family members, mostly sisters, mothers etc somehow found a match and so on. No longer the case. So young men and women out there, find marriage and seek not only for a good looking or rich partner, better a partner with takva. Sorry I just wanted to put my thoughts here. May Allah bless you

Islam does in fact HEAVILY discourage slavery and some major sins have the sinner free a slave for example, but as far as I know, slavery is not prohibited in Islam (keep in mind that Islamic slavery is VERYYYYY different to what people think, for example you've to clothe and feed your slaves the same that you eat and wear, you can't strike them ect ect). When you hear "what your right hand possesses" it's referring to a female slave, and thankfully, approaching her Islamically must be done with consent. I hope I explain it correctly.

With respect to the scholars - none, and not even Imam Malik ra, can declare it haram. The verse of Surah Muminoon is about sexual intercourse and to interpret masturbation as it is clearly wrong. There is no statement of the prophet saw that prohibits it. And even his recommendation to fast explaines that it helps lowering the gaze. Of course you feel guilty because that woman on your mind is maybe not your spouse, and of course with watching porn or arbitrary watching of women we should feel guilty and seek pardon and avoid it as good as we can. But it is not to drive us crazy. There's even reports, that sahaba did it, they say that's weak but most of the traditions against music is the same category... no statement of the prophet, interpretation. There is Haram like drinking alcohol and also some things like wearing silk and gold as a man, but there are statements of saw which clearly define the issue. Even if high respected scholars regard it Haram I won't accept it. They're all good indeed, and I appreciate their knowledge and piousness, and I don't want to encourage to do so and it is of course good if one can restrain himself. There's people who can stay weeks without sex, there's people who can't leave it for very few days. Why frustrate them like that?? The best is keeping children not alone or only having one child which is much alone. If children are not alone, they will not play with themselves that much, so they don't get addicted.

It means the slaves girls that people used to own. But don't misunderstand please. Islam does not encourage slavery. It was there in human history since time in memoriam. If u read the Qur'an and Seerah, U will see that Allah gives many incentives to ppl who free their slaves. Some punishments also included freeing slaves. In short, Islam encouraged freeing of slaves which occurred gradually. When slavery was forcefully ended like that seen in US history, it ended with a civil war that killed thousands of men, widowed and orphaned thousands upon thousands of women and children. Not to forget it also maimed hundreds of thousands men. So we can see that it is not easy to end a practice that has been in human history regardless of ethnicity and geography. Islam did so gradually, avoiding needless wars and loss of lives.

Maybe if slavery was outlawed from the beginning, then it would be too harsh upon the higher echelons of the society. Islam is a religion that establishes justice upon the people regardless of their societal position. However there are far more incentives to free a slave than there are to make slaves.
