Also another epic is Swan Song with the Chopin etude intro with Miyako LIVE. This band thrives on a stage and LIVE there are few that can match their flawless perfection. Midori shows she is more than a shredding machine on that acoustic guitar. Once again Haruna on drums just is simply a stunning beast as her 4' 9" body rocks out harder than drummers twice her weight.

They are a different breed, no one like them in all of metal. You've seen them do thrash. Their power metal is rediculous. Then they drop this on you. Be like Slayer doing this. not gonna happen. Think of all the bands you've referenced as influences... none of them do this. Keep going down this rabbithole, and you'll see M&M is the best duo period. Edge of the World and Epilogue are two songs that feature Asami on the vocals and are true ballads. Well Epilogue is a true ballad, Edge of the World does escalate in the second half much like this song. Hey guys. Watched this one again - and wanted to leave a message. The Guitar that Miyako is playing is neither a Strat nor an ESP Strat copy. It is an Infinite guitar, which are made to have exceptional (infinite) sustain. This is the only song I've seen her use it on so far.

Such great composition! Interestingly, this song's composers were attributed to Asami (vocal), and Mao, a frequent contributing composer to Lovebites' music. So the blistering guitar solos and the metal ending weren't all M & M's ideas ~ 🙂

Yeah that band Lord of the Lost just won the Eurovision contest for Germany and they are going to the finals in Liverpool in May. They do have a video but you might also want to check out the Eurovision live performance. They are supposed to be coming to the US in February 2024. They are opening for Iron Maiden for a second time this year in Europe. It's a song contest and the song they won with is Blood and Glitter.

If you want a power ballad react to "Epilogue" live Tokyo 2019. This is part of what is called the "E" series. Which is a set of 3 songs, "Epilogue", "Empty Daydreams" and "Edge of the World". All of which, have Miyako on piano as well as guitar.

Great reaction. They have a real all slow soulful and beautiful ballad with phenomenal wailing and weeping solos of the guitar duo. Epilogue kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHqke4x4qtp-fa8. The former bassist Miho did a great work here and she is a great fan of Steve Harris. Doesn't she sound like that? She was the band leader and wrote songs and lyrics. Real female Steve Harris.

Asami was spectacular... Miyako and Midori are amazing... Haruna is awesome as always... But the bass line from Miho ( their former leader and bassist ) are phenomenal... the best bass line from her....

Oh! If you are surprised like that at the piano playing, you really haven't seen anything yet... I am sure someone has recommended you check out Swan Song with the Chopin Intro (link below), but allow me to repeat. Miyako is calssically trained on the piano since age 3. At around age 20 she picked up the guitar and the rest is history... For ballads, Epilogue, Edge of the World and Empty Daydream are the goto oevres, all with outstanding Asami vocal work. They definitely have some headbangable songs. This one not so much I guess, but Shadowmaker, Break the Wall, Raide Some Hell and several other ones certainly fit that description. And they actually moved around quite a bit at their last concert, which is still available to stream for that matter. You should check it out. Plus Asami is great at controlling and hyping up the crowd.
