I've been following Fami for over 3 years, this is the video that really helped put her on the map. She actually received a lot of criticizm from this video of her not playing this since there is a part where audibly she is slapping, but visually she is tapping. She being Fami doubled down claiming that this was more a performance video recorded separately from the audio, and she did a fully live playthrough where she made a few mistakes, but clearly proved she *could* play it. I'm so happy she made it in to Lovebites! She seems to fit in very well with them all around, and is extremely happy.

her channel has a lot of fun stuff her announcement to her fans that she joined lovebites is just pure gold even if you cant find good captions (i did see an English captioned one but can't find it now) you can see the excitement and pure joy while she talks a milllion miles per second lol

The unbelievable part is that she was thinking of giving up on the bass, until the Lovebites opportunity came along. WTF? Sometimes the people with the genius talent have no idea how good they are....

The songs on Lovebites' latest album, Judgement Day, were already composed before Fami joined the band. Miyako wrote the basic basslines for those tracks. When Fami came onboard, she was given 3 weeks to come up with her own basslines for all the songs. Since the tracks were already written, she wasn't given too much room to maneuver. This is the reason why I'm so excited for their next album when Fami will be fully integrated into the creative process.

Every time I watch one of her videos in this room, I can't help but hope her mum doesn't open that door to see if she want's a cup of tea or something, and hit her in the back with the door handle. There are some other brilliant videos on her site. Even a live one of this track on stage with a band. Yes definitely easy to see why Fami got the gig with Lovebites.

Miho was/is a great bass player, but Fami is on entirely different level of talent. I am so happy that Lovebites chose her to be their bassist. After listening to Lovebites' new album many, many, many times, I really feel that she has added a new dimension to Lovebites. They seem to have a fire about them that they didn't have before. I'm sure that their forced hiatus made them realize how much they missed performing and they wanted to come back with a vengeance. All of the band seems to have leveled up in the new album, but I'm also sure that the addition of Fami is partly the reason.

do you realise Fami had with her album and bass demos, 57 million views, before she even auditioned for Lovebites ? After auditioning, now 59 million views. Yes, that's how good you have to be to join Lovebites. Well done Fami and well done Lovebites.
