LOVEBITES - Glory to the World lyrics: Everything around us will fall into dark When you keep on looking into the sadness Nobody in this world may ever be free My hearts will shiver and I can't take deep breath But rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify The dawn will come and bring the light in this world Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me Standing in nowhere and searching for meanings A sleepless night haunting us like a shadow A blur in the future, the fear of unknown There will come a time where we can leave everything behind Breeze are running through the land and endless to the sky Together we will make it through this deep night Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me And rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify The dawn will come and bring the light and lead us to a new world Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Wherever you go, this world that we breathe together, Nothing more precious ----- lyrics: asami music: midori & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES

For your next LOVEBITES reaction, I would highly recommend either When Destinies Align or Shadowmaker
@snakewhisperer13 жыл бұрын
Great reaction. Yes, the story I had heard was that the first song they played when they got together for the first time was a cover of Halestorm's Love Bites just to feel each other out. The chemistry just clicked, and they decided to name the band after the song. I agree. Great song. But just as Band Maid, these ladies are much more of a live band. Looking forward to the next one!

Their MVs are awesome check out their Anime Theme for VLADLOVE, Winds of Transylvania (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqSoZYiYlLWdnpo) BUT honestly Asami is so much better LIVE where she commands the stage and the crowd and that really seems to pump her to another whole level as you saw with Holy War. However, that said these insanely talented women are in the relentless pursuit of PERFECTION in everything that they do. Next LIVE video Edge of the World ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHi1qYt5edmFfKM), starts with Miyako's intro piano, Midori's weeping guitar and Asami's bluesy vocals as a ballad, transition to Miyako's "Gary Moore" solo and then transitions again into a heavier Lovebites mode, shows the talent of these women in all of their glory. Nice reaction and your comment is fair and accurate (IMHO) but still wicked good!! Hey you still haven't done Asterism Dawn and watch teens do some wicked blending of Metal/Rock/Jazz into a fusion instrumental that is awesome. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKa0gal_g6-Wd5I) front row fan-cam with excellent video and good audio, for a small venue (restricted by Child Labor Laws), Hal-Ca was 16 here and only playing since she was 10, Miyu and his 7 string bass is 17, honestly if Jimi Hendrix had a granddaughter you are looking at her in Hal-Ca, she has that same vibe while on stage.

Yeah, I was never big on power metal either, but Lovebites seem to add just enough thrash to their power metal that I like when they do it, but like you I generally prefer their thrashier and more classic heavy metal and hard rock than their power metal, although I like it all, especially live. Love it all, actually. They've become my favourite band. This song will kick all kinds of ass live, I bet. Yes, they're big fans of Halestorm, Asami in particular - they named themselves after the Halestorm song Love Bites (So Do I), and they cover it sometimes and released a live version on Electric Pentagram Type A.

I wonder is the direct loan "Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all" from Whitney Houston intentionally there or did it came subconsciously.
@dregeye3 жыл бұрын
Although Whitney Houston is often credited with the song "The Greatest Love Of All" it is actually a 'cover' of the song, lyrics by Linda Creed, with this story behind it which fits perfectly with Asami's & LOVEBITES use of the phrase to uplift humanity from the struggles of the pandemic: "Though diagnosed with breast cancer at 26, [Linda] Creed kept on working, teaming with composer Michael Masser and writing the lyrics to the song "The Greatest Love of All", the main theme of the film The Greatest, a biopic of the great boxer Muhammad Ali, launched in 1977. The song was originally recorded by George Benson" later 'covered' by Whitney Houston "The lyrics of the song were written in the midst of her struggle with breast cancer. The words describe her feelings about coping with great challenges that one must face in life, being strong during those challenges whether you succeed or fail, and passing that strength on to children to carry with them into their adult lives." ~ Wiki

I guess you guys are more into the dark side of metal, I can understand because this song was strongly religious and Christian overtones in it, more of an uplifting and encouraging song. Most, if not all of their songs lyric-wise are the same uplifting and encouraging. So I don't know if I should recommend any other song to you unless you want to hear their prog-rock and thrash songs but it is entirely up to you. Maybe you should stick to the mainstream garbage everyone else is listening to? I will say this Lovebites is not for everyone, most can't stand the fact that they are so much better than the crap they listen to anyway. your honesty is appreciated and will leave it at that! Yet, I will leave a few links for you in case you do decide to see more of their brutal and amazing talent.
