They don't play heavy metal, the ARE heavy metal! Brings me back to the 80's, perfect for getting more regressive at my old age. 😉Love your analysis and reaction sir!

Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES. Very wonderful analysis and impression. Keep LOVEBITES in your future. Asami(Vo) has been studying classical ballet from the age of 2 to 18. Asami (Vo) was originally an R&B and soul singer. She had never listened to metal music at all, which she says was "music from another dimension. Discover another of Asami's talents, having moved on from R&B and soul. She has a wide range of belts from low to high(e5), and is able to perform them with certainty. I have always felt that Asami is both a vocalist and an actress. Asami can sing in a variety of ways depending on the song. To get an idea of Asami's true vocal talent in R&B and Soul, check out. You can then check Asami's wide-range belt from low to high frequencies. See 3E Song (all live) "Edge of the World", "EPILOGUE", "Empty Daydream" These songs are slower than previous Reaction songs. In LOVEBITES you can hear a wide range of metal genres. It also confirms the wide range of their compositions, lyrics, arrangements and Asami's singing abilities. There are several other classically inspired compositions by Miyako, such as the fusion of metal and classical music incorporated in the intro.

Well two songs in and you are already a fan.. Not surprising, it is hard for any one with an ear for tallent not to be. In this video you see the 3 guitarists tapping individually in three different places, which is awesome live.. However, they are actually all tapping at the same time, all three times... Mind blowing live. The skill on this stage is truly unreal and all played with such confidence and ease, no one does this they really are just on another level.. You have over 60 songs to go so enjoy the ride it is Awesome.. Break the wall live next would be Cool... Best wishes from France...
@ahodori-dl5hz6 ай бұрын
There are three short tappings in this piece, and since they are close-ups of one at a time, most people would mistake them for being played by one person, but in fact all three are played together in all three places.

They never fail to impress. This was one of the 1st songs I heard from them. I remember listening over and over thinking is this really real it was so good. I'm a guitar solo simp, so watching Midori and Miyako shred is one of the most enjoyable things ever. They play off each other seamlessly with different styles and personalities. The best duo on the planet. Thry really don't have any bad songs. They are incredibly elite in their musicianship. Keep running down this rabbitt hole, it's a treat. FYI: I'm betting you will have multiple Lovebites songs blasting on your next road trip as you experience more tracks..

each LOVEBITES song you will see are truly works of art and every one is unique. the variety of styles of music they play is what sets them apart from any other band i've ever seen with no 2 songs alike. you started with something classical - swan song - then came a non stop power metal banger - holy war. next song i would recommend is 'a frozen serenade' live from the 'heavy metal never dies' concert in tokyo in 2021. the version posted by FIL has lyrics and is the best version. they pull out all of the stops in this with more of miyako on the piano and midori playing a stirring spanish acoustic guitar piece in the middle of the song. it borders on theatrical with vocalist asami using some of her ballet skills to give it that quality. every song they do is an experience but this one really stands out
@chriso67196 ай бұрын
Yes, Miho just finger tapped the bass. LOL . Miyako, Midori , and Miho were all tapping each of the 3 times, the cameras just showed 1 at a time though. This song was my introduction to the band, of course I was blown away. Are you sure you want to play this on your next road trip? Can you afford the speeding tickets?? 😁🤣 So far you have heard their power metal leaning side. Check out their thrash side, and meet their new bassist Fami, with "Hammer of Wrath" live from Knocking on Heaven's Gate 2023.

"America invented rock. England improved it. And now, Japan has perfected it." Not my comment, but one I read a few years ago. And one that I couldn't agree with more when it comes to rock/metal. The talent and attention to detail over there is unbelievable. Want a few more examples? :) Asterism (MV 'Rising Moon'), Band-Maid (MV 'From Now On'), Gacharic Spin (MV 'Mindset'), Nemophila (the latest official live from 'Oiran'), Hanabie (MV 'We Love Sweets'), Trident (MV 'Cry Out') ... As you said in your last video, it doesn't matter that you don't necessarily understand every word that is sung, the music as a whole speaks a universal language. 🔥🤘🏻 Greetings from Germany. :) _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Yup, you've got deep LOVEBITES wounds! I'm not even really a metal fan, but these ladies appeared to me less than a year ago and rocketed to be among the top of my favorite band list.... of all time! Something to watch for, the vocalist Asami modified her approach to that penultimate note heard twice in this song. Beginning in 2021, she typically holds that TWICE as long!

I'm glad, you did a successful comeback! I've enjoyed your Kate Bush reactions so much and was sad, when you had to take a break. Well done! As you're already bitten hard, consider yourself being member of the Wolfpack. We are all addicted to LOVEBITES talent and awesomeness. All 5 members of the band are extremely skilled and professional, but also awesome persons. They were founded in 2016 from members of other groups from different directions (e.g. the singer Asami was R&B/soul singer, ballerina, studied dance, and did R&R covers and background vocals). They did 4 self-written albums now, and after their first era (2017 - 2021), they did a best-of album, where they let the fans decide, which songs to use. It was kind of sad, that they were heavily hit by Covid-19 and the departure of their bassist Miho (seen in this video), who was also founder and band leader, for personal reasons (e.g. her father died in 2018, when they played in Europe, Wacken W-O-A and Bloodstock B-O-A). They went on hiatus with this best-of album and a song, that promised, that they come back. They've made a worldwide audition for a new bassist in early and mid 2022 and confirmed Fami (20yo prodigy with a 700K KZbin channel) as the new bassist in October 2022. New song December, new album February 2023, new live performances (the second of which will be released next week) in March 2023, Japan tour and live album in August/September 2023. Three festival dates in Europe and the US confirmed for 2024 yet. #15 metal album of 2023 on Metal Hammer. Ready for a breakout... All songs are excellent, some of them masterpieces, it doesn't matter which one you use, LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They are from different styles of heavy metal and hard rock, recognizable tune, mostly with solo-solo-harmonizing scheme, many different songs. Best played live, although their OMVs are quite good. Extremely well produced live albums and OMVs (with specialists from Finland, that did Nightwish as well). They hit me 6 month and a day ago, when I got a notification from Millie's reaction channel. I was immediately bitten and explored all that awesome stuff... Enjoy your ride!

It’s very nice to see someone who genuinely understands what he’s listening to and appreciates it for what it is…virtuosity. The best part for you as a reactor is that we, the Wolfpack, can hand on heart promise you that this is the only standard LOVEBITES has. They have never disappointed and it’s become universally acknowledged that they are unlikely to ever do so. But even better is the fact that they are all musically knowledgeable and all more than capable of writing material of the same ridiculously high standard. You’re going to enjoy the ride and I’m going to enjoy watching you enjoy it.
