She does go up by the drummer in the live version of "we the united". Swan song is where the piano comes into play, the dark haired guitarist is a classically trained pianist.

Your favorite is Midori Tatematsu, Guitars, backing vocals. she plays ESP guitars. The Crazy Shredder! Asami: Lead Vocals, piano, The One And Only Voice. Miho: Bass guitar, backing vocals, The Natural Born Headbanger (left the band in 2021) Haruna: Drums, The Little Big Engine Miyako: Guitars, keyboards, piano, backing vocals, The Golden Touch, main composer, but they all compose

That piano is there for Miyako, the dark hair guitarist, who is a world class concert pianist and composer who began piano lessons at age 3. She also composes the music for many of their songs. One of their best piano pieces is Swan Song Chopin Etude. But be sure to pick the one that indicates that it includes the Chopin Etude as there are two videos out there one of which lacks the requisite intro.

and I don't understand some UTube reactors (I think mostly Americans) insist on animated performance so persistently. IMO, musical and showbusiness is something different from music or art but they mix it up and assess musicians as showgirls.

I am a huge fan of both Band-Maid and Lovebites and I have to agree that Band-Maid moves more and interacts more than Lovebites, but they also do more of that than probably 99% of bands on the planet. If you watch any of the fan videos of Band-Maid shows at smaller venues in Europe or the US, that interaction with the crowd and each other is amplified. Plus each of them, even Misa, have a great sense of humor and they often turn that humor on each other. I will be seeing them live in person in less than 2 months. While Band-Maid has kept that youthful goofiness, Lovebites comes across as a seasoned, mature, no nonsense band. I can't see them bantering with a crowd like Band-Maid does even though Asami and Midori speak much better English than any member of Band-Maid. The members of both bands are about the same age but the band personalities are so different. Your favorite, Midori, is currently the only single member of Lovebites. She also has spent a lot of her Covid time getting in tremendous shape. She has recently entered some physique competitions and apparently has done quite well. Recent news for Lovebites is that they have settled on a new bassist and an announcement on the identity should be coming very soon

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for?What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore What do we live for?What do we fight for, tonight? My second favorite band from Nippon. You know who is first. The drummer here is best friends with Band-Maid's drummer. Two different genres for sure but do not put any of these bands in competition with each other because they are all friends and support each other. We should do the same. They lost their bassist and are just now getting back up to speed. Yes, the lead guitarist is classically trained and she does the Etude in concert.

Nice reaction. Your favorite guitarist is Midori. Miyako is the other guitarist, keyboardist, and does some backup vocals. You mentioned walking up the risers to rock out with the drummer and then missed the bass guitarist Miho doing that exactly. I’ll add my voice to the other comments requesting Swan Song WITH the Chopin intro on the Piano by Miyako. Great band.

You cracked me up on this reaction 👍. OMFG you didn't pause during the solo 👏. I personally feed off the music, so that's where you and I differ. I don't need stage jumping. They have awesome stage presence just standing and playing. It's so refreshing in the sea of metal. Your favorite is Midori. Mesmerizing stage presence backed to elite level at least equal to every other shredding guitarist. I, being an introvert, live Miyako's stage presence. Stoic, focused, making it all look effortless. She shows us her prodigy level piano ability with Swan Song from this same concert.

As any of the regulars will tell you, I'm a loyal member of the Wolfpack, and I love that you can laugh about the folks that get a little salty in the comments. Personally, I don't care if the ladies run around or stand stock-still, but if you have a different opinion, that's all good by me. The music speaks for itself and you clearly appreciate the music. Thanks for continuing down the path with Lovebites (and Band-Maid, and J-rock in general). BTW, there are some 600 Japanese all-female or female-led bands with at least one song on youtube. It's a huge, insane scene and you have just scratched the surface. Of course, Band-Maid and Lovebites are at the pinnacle, but there are a lot of great bands.

OK, a number of songs have been mentioned for Miyako playing piano, but on “Burden of Time” she plays keyboard and guitar at the same time, it’s a bit mind blowing. On “Spellbound” Miyako plays synth and a keytar. If you want a song that answers all of your criticisms, then “Scream for Me” is the song for you, all the mics are used, Asami is all over the stage, Miyako headbangs and Midori and Miyako engage in quite the guitar duel, it’s just a fun song!
@dragulia_venaro2 жыл бұрын
in "Epilogue", Miyako do the acoustic guitar along with Midori for the intro, then she playing piano, and ended up with the electric guitar.. so, she literally play 3 different instrument in one song..

You must remember, this is a concert. This only one of 17-18 songs done during this concert, so they won't be using all of their equipment on one song. Dude, just don't smoke before you do a LOVEBITES reaction. They require your undivided attention. Most music is on the simple side, their is more sophisticated. You haven’t seen a fraction of what this band is capable of. The piano is for your “not” favourite guitarist to show us what she learned, classically, from the age of three. You’ve also made way too much of a thing about Asami, the band and their “movement”. I’ve watched every show available on release dozens of times. The shows, seen in their entirety, contain everything you need from a metal concert, along with some things other bands never have and never will do on stage. Moreover they’re the only band I’ve ever seen that enjoy their own shows from beginning to end, including the obligatory group bow to the audience. The majority of Lovebites fans that I’ve encountered recognise one thing above all else, and that is their unique musical talent. For me, the difference between Lovebites and all other bands playing this genre is that they made a conscious decision to have a particular appearance. That appearance is elegant, especially Asami, a ballerina. That a hyped cartoon character band like Band Maid can get a ten tells me that that isn’t important to you. That’s fine, but please, if Lovebites doesn’t rate a ten then your scoring system is flawed. It’s flawed because it doesn’t take into consideration the context of what you are seeing. Now of course you’re going to give them a ten when inevitably Asami really interacts with the crowd, but the build up has been created on a false impression.

To each their own so what if you prefer the pop rock crap as opposed to true rock music, I pretty sure you're the type that loves Queen, Motley Crue, and Kiss all pop rock crap no metal at all. So no need to explain why you gave the other band a higher score, on a side note yes Asami does use the drummer's platform, and yes the other ladies do backup vocals on certain songs. You would know this if you were to react to Lovebites more than your pop rock crap.
