That thick bass sound is Fami's own signature 'Bacchus' Woodline series bass.Sounds fantastic doesn't it? Not sure what amp she uses though. I think they've also brought her a bit more forward in the mix too. Fami is a great addition to the White Wolves. Not just for her style & techniques, but also for her vocals & songwriting abilities. But we will always miss Miho.

You are absolutely right. This is one of the new elements that Fami's presence brings to the songwriting of the band. The bass during the solos works not as rythm but actually as a 3rd lead guitar. We 'll wait and see, if it is only for this song or it will be the standard procedure from now on.🤘🐺🤘

Fantastic reaction. New Album 22nd February. 1st gig with Fami 11th March, Tokyo. I live in the U.K….but I have a ticket and I’m going!! 🙂🙂🙂. Totally agree with you about Fami backing the solos. Four separate solos and she plays a different run behind each, they flow together and they fit perfectly. She’s a stellar addition to the band in my view. The album will blow us away. There is a second release from it “The Spirit Lives On” with no video but if you’re a fan I still think it’s worth a reaction. One or two channels have already done so, but nowhere near as many as should have!

Fami (the new bassist) is an absolute win for the group. A real charge of joy and energy. I assume that she simply "clicked into" Lovebites, and that was it. It's funny you use the word chaotic. The one song I have always said is controlled chaos is "Winds of Transylvania", which I feel is more chaotic than this song. Asami and Mao wrote that song, and they wrote "Judgement Day" too. The two songs are so different yet so similar, but "Judgement Day" is as epic a metal song as you will hear. Fami's bass lines are something else. She can chug along with Haruna being the engine of a song, but she can also hook up with Miyako and Midori and be practically a 3rd lead in a solo run because of her technical style. Haruna's cymbal and china work is the best I have ever heard on drums. Asami's voice is as powerful as ever. "Judgement Day" is my favorite song by any band.

I only started listening to Lovebites in November, and I immediately started kicking myself for not starting sooner. This new song is next level, even for them. If you’re looking for something else new to listen to, Beyond The Black released their 5th album just over two weeks ago, and I consider it an early contender for album of the year. I only wish it was longer. Tracks like ‘Reincarnation’, ‘Free Me’, and ‘Dancing In The Dark’ are good starting places, but it’s all great.

I love Lovebites for a while now, and this song is really awesome ! When i first heard it, i was so impressed that they finally recognized the Bass being some more than just the usual background instrument. Its otherwise being never been mixed in sound that far in the front. And it was very becoming in this song. BUT, unfortunately it was just a kinda showing off their new bass player. The next song that came out recently showed clearly that it went back to the usual sound (not that this is bad), with the bass being reduced to its usual role. I personally think thats a growth moment they passed or let pass by without realizing what they did right with "Judgement Day". Its too bad.
