The music video for "Nameless Warrior" was released after it was announced that band founder and leader Miho (bass) had left the band and LOVEBITES would be going on hiatus. The video contained a strong message, "We will be back." It must have been deeply moving for them to perform this song at their revival concert two years later.

LOVEBITES - Nameless Warrior [live] lyrics: This is it, Living under the destiny to fight My doubts layin' silent in past Arm myself, I am ready to take the step into enemies Will you give it up? What do you feel under the darkness? I search for light that I have never seen, Stare inside, I know it's somewhere Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight This is the beginning They will not see me surrender Bringing back memories I'll never let it go Now is the time we'll never forget Nameless warrior Hide the light that I found in my path I call it ''faith'' for now That is all left for me Shivering, too afraid of the night but I believe myself This is up to me [!] The truth and lies are in the mirror I search for light that I have never seen Stare inside, I know it's somewhere Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight This is the beginning They will not see me surrender Take my hand, I'll be there and never let it go Now is the time we'll never forget Nameless warrior No time for looking in past now Fears vanishing into the sky... SOLOs: Broken piece of a soul Never heal in the rain And will there be end to this? Flaming up inside of me Giving me insanity The memories fading in my head and now I'm fallin' SOLO: both What do you feel under the darkness? I search for light that I have never seen Stare inside, I know it's somewhere Taking step the way I believe Glorious innocence shined by the moonlight This is the beginning They will not see me surrender Bringing back memories I'll never let it go Now is the time we'll never forget Nameless warrior ----- lyrics: asami music: asami, midori, miyako, haruna & Mao album: In The Beginning 2017 - 2021

If they record one of these shows, then this level of performance is but a warm up. As for Fami, that bass riff is not for beginners. And you were right, tonight her stage presence was incredible. Besides her superb technical skills, Haruna's most understated genius is her efficiency and stamina ... not just in completing a 6-minute song, but to continue at such pace during those 2-hour long blistering concerts! Asami benefits hugely by having two shred Queens who can solo for minutes, hence giving her voice some much need rest. Their bassist mostly performs at a relaxed pace, but even their 20-year old youngster Fami previousl mentioned she had to start jogging to keep pace with her "thoroughbred" bandmates in order to survive their upcoming concerts. "Looks are deceiving" especially applies to Haruna, as you see mostly smiles, no facial grimacing, no wild or wasted arm movements, and literally no sweat! (Has anyone seen Haruna sweat?). How can a 4' 9" drummer play such a huge drum kit and double-kick at such unrelenting pace throughout an entire concert? No one can answser this better than her, that's why I hope that she starts her drum channel or academy one day.

I discovered LOVEBITES exactly a year ago and I found them surreal. How can such a band exist that transcends gender, genre, and geography that can so consistently compose song after song of such excellence (with lyrics that resonate globally) ... plus display such elite musicianship and physical stamina in their live performances ... and yes, in heels! What should perhaps "scare" you is that you are yet to discover some of masterpieces that they alone can perform. In time, you'll discover that my last statement is no exaggeration. They truly inspire me beyond words.

Star of Haruna. This is the one she has been using since just before she formed LOVEBITES. The star is made to rotate, but you don't actually hit it, but you play with it by rotating it with the stick when the song starts playing. Sometimes you can see other members such as Asami getting close and rotating them. I think this star is probably Haruna's mascot or a lucky charm. ---------- from Nippon *This is a text using Google Translate. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.

Haruna (drums)'s hobby is making small items using clay, and she also has a mail-order business on her page. One day, thinking that she could reuse a cymbal that was no longer usable as a musical instrument, she brought it to a local factory and had it processed into a star shape. Since then, the star cymbal has become Haruna's trademark. And since the drummer of another band also wanted a star cymbal, he added it to his mail order product lineup.
@FaintlyTapping Жыл бұрын
It’s great to see Haruna get some love. This was a masterclass of a drumming performance. The star cymbals are not percussively functional. But they’re Haruna’s trademark and sometimes she reaches over and spins one of them with her drumstick at the start of some of their songs.

You think they were happy to be back..LIVE on stage with the Wolfpack that just worship these insanely talented women!!!!!!!!!!! Fami is so happy that smile could light the venue all by itself. A few subtle changes in the new LB, more bass time (Miho never got any real shine time and perhaps the ladies want Fami to be welcomed quickly by giving her those shine moments), next Miyako is much more animated moving around on stage, still stoic looking as she really believes the music makes the statement for the musician (her new LP of great metal songs reworked into classical piano pieces is proof of that), Asami continues to be the stage Napoleon controlling the crowd, the band and driving the entire show from start to finish, Finally, Haruna has gone completely nuts and you hear her so much better here than other shows as well (There are MMA fighters who wish they hit as fast, as hard and as long as she does on that poor kit...you actually feel pity for that poor Pearl set). Now we learn they are coming to the US next September for the ProgPower Fest, meaning they likely will be extending that to include other venues in the US.....they are simply a BUCKET-LIST treat for any real music lover!!!!!

I think about the two guitarists you can say that Miako is both stoic. But I think what differs the two most is that one is introvert and one is more outgoing. Some other Reactors sometimes makes the the accusation that Miyako looks uninterested or doesn't bring a show as Midori. But speaking bymyself as an introvert. I can say its more about different personalities. Just as it can differ between nationalities. If you for an example compare Shy and more introvert Swedish people against the more outgoing Americans. I love that people are different and all is precious. Sometimes it gets so obvius tho :) Much love from Stockholm Sweden/ Jonny

Asami's voice is lower in the mix when she goes in her lower vocal range. The mix in the concert is set for the majority of the time that she is Soaring above everything with that clear high tone. But in some songs, like this one, she starts in her lower register and then builds to her normal range. The parts of *_this_* song when she is in her higher register she is easy to hear and understand. BTW - a couple of times I think I heard you say Miyaku .. it is Miyako. Also, since you are obviously a Huge Haruna Fan - Haruna Fun Fact . . When she looks into the crowd and holds her hand cupped to her ear, the crowd responds HARUPI!. It shows some great coverage of the band messing around in the studio. They also did a web broadcast of that album launch, with the band members listening at home on a split screen. Their antics in 'Lost In The Garden' and 'Soldier Stands Solitarily' are well worth watching. Miyako can be quite different from the way she seems on stage.

But, she leaves a lasting impression so that says a lot, IMO. With that being said, I still have a ton to discover, but credit is given where credit is due, and here we are. Thanks a ton for the comment, support, and wondering input. Cheers, Keep on Rockin' 🤘🏻

Haruna's star cymbal is supposed to be a teenager, there is a video that can be confirmed. Also, her professional musician career dates back a few years from there. She was young and a genius.😄

Haruna-san is actually using both bass drums. If you watch the video closely, you can see both drums pumping. Also, she uses doubles in all of her personal videos.

Awesome. I must have been thinking of something else, or I was told she uses 2 pedals on one because of her size. Either way, great to know.

You’re correct that HARUPI plays a double pedal on a single drum. She posted a photo of her kit on stage taken from her point of view. The second, smaller bass drum and the star cymbals are just for show. FAMI *is* a nickname, given by her family because as a kid she loved Family Mart, a Japanese convenience store.
@DaneBramageROCKS Жыл бұрын
Yeah I keep getting mixed responses, I swore she used one drum but 2 kicks. Thanks for the info on her nickname. I love it!

I completely agree with you about how little Asami is heard. What's more, if we take into account the other concert DVDs, this is one of the worst in terms of mix. I love Lovebites, but unfortunately the audio of this concert is a step backwards in terms of the quality to which we are normally accustomed. When you listen to previous material you will understand what I mean. Anyway, excellent reaction as always. Thank you.

Haruna actually does use both bass drums 🥁. Often she uses the double pedal on the 22" bass but also uses the 20" bass on certain songs.

For me, a drummer who is 4'10" tall is the tallest - to use the phrase "big, bigger, Haruna"! The whole band is incredibly great, but without their founder (together with the retired Miho), this incredible one Drummer, this reserved, almost shy-seeming Haruna, what I consider to be the best power metal band in the world at the moment, lacked the musical heart. A heart that beats, beats and beats for a long time, at an impressive speed, over incredibly impressive concerts!
@DaneBramageROCKS Жыл бұрын
Yeah how they keep up that tempo and drive through an entire concert is something to marvel. Incredible.

I've heard an (unconfirmed) rumor today among the wolfpack fanpage. That Fami goes under the Nickname "Shining Fingers" in the band. Yet to see if it will stick to be the nickname she will have. As all others allready have theirs. In any case an absolutely awsome bassist. Togetherwith "The silent assassin" Misa in bandmaid. These two are my favorite female bassists in the world...

Hi. if you really want to react to Haruna drumming (and drums set ). then react to THIS video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4PTk2SNeMasf9U. this video is 3 statics cameras focused on Haruna. for the full song. and the mix is also drum focused. the song is "raise some hell". but of course because of drum focus mix the other instruments and vocal are in background. but you can definitively see the Little Big Engine enjoying a full song.

Asami in my opinion she is THE VOICE of Heavy Metal she is unique and cant be compared to other singher she is Asami ..

"They have had their shred fest." Every single Lovebites song. 😀😎 So great for you to keep reminding us to listen to Haruna. Sadly, she often gets overlooked by reaction channels. Not sure how interested you would be to go back and watch some of their first live performance's from Lovebites? For me, they have a less produced, raw sound and obviously not the same light and stage effects in later performances but I find that preferable. You may not but either way, you can't fault the Lovebites ladies. ❤ A good example of what I mean can be found by searching Lovebites Wacken Shadowmaker.
