Chopin's song played by Miyako (guitar / keyboard) as an intro is "Etude OP10, No12", known as "Revolution Etude". In 1831, a rebellion by some officers and civilians against the Polish government under the control of the Russian Empire, called the "November Revolution," failed due to Russia's direct intervention. Chopin will be informed of this news during his journey. He lost his place to return. When Russian troops invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agents announced "Etude OP10, No12" in Paris. People called it a "revolutionary etude" because the agents exaggerated and promoted the song. Miyako composed "Swan Song" with reference to this "revolutionary etude" and Dvorak's "From the New World". Former ballerina Asami (vocal) wrote a poem inspired by "Swan Lake" based on the historical episode of "Revolutionary Etude". "Swan Song" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to regain fatherland, and is a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES can produce. If you want to pay attention to their lyrics, there are many other songs to check out such as 'GLORY TO THE WORLD', 'Epilogue', 'Edge Of The World'.

Great band with all great songs(almost 50 songs). Swan Song one of their masterpiece. Lovebites are heavy/power metal band with talented, gorgeous but nasty ladies. my only disappointment is that the camera gave Miyako on the guitar full attention through her solo but kept panning away from Midori on her solo I felt their camera guy didn't give Midori the same respect.

Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." You Know the girl playing the piano and guitar was the same girl, right? Miyako also composes the majority of LoveBites songs. Also plays a pretty mean bass and a little drums. There are only 5 members. The pianist, Miyako, was also the woman that played the first guitar solo. She also composed this piece. Asami (vocalist) wrote the lyrics. Nice Reaction.
