The most insanely talented power metal band playing LIVE and FLAWLESSLY today. They have taken all the glory of 80's metal and blended it into their own sound which has elevated to a whole new level. M & M (Midori and Miyako) on guitars are the most dynamic duo playing today especially LIVE. The founders and backbone of the band Miho/bass and Haruna/drums drive this band like a fine tuned Lamborghini at top speed on the open road. Then we have the stage commander, Asami with her R & B background vocals that carries this band from start to finish. Other great songs are Scream for Me (LIVE); Empty Daydream (LIVE), Swan Song (LIVE). LIVE is the best way to truly appreciate this band and their great talent. Petite women who look like models, until they put on high heels and white dresses and proceed to blow you away with their talents.

Good reaction. Best metal band at this moment. Asami makes it special with her beautiful voice. Miyako and midori play amazing lead guitar. Miho plays wonderfull bass guitar. Hakuna is a beast on the drums. My favourite band at this moment.

Isn't it great that while looking like supermodels on the catwalk, Lovebites' members (except Haruna the drummer) performed perform a full 90 minute plus concert, playing their instruments flawlessly, moving around the stage, headbanging and changing the pedals on their effects boards while wearing four inch high heels and do not even break sweat. I can't think of any male band that could do that. Lovebites are definitely the real deal, as good as, if not better than most of the male competion, especially live. I also recommend 'Scream for Me', 'Edge of the World', 'Empty Daydream', 'Epilogue', 'Above the Black Sea', 'Under the Read Sky' 'We the United' - try to keep to videos from the Zepp Diver City 2020 and Daughtes of the Dawn 2018 concerts. Lovebites live performances are better than their studio recordings or music videos.

"More than we bargained for!" That pretty much captures everyone's first exposure to Lovebites. So, some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" pocket nuke), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music. They have only been around for about 4 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and now they’re taking it to another level. This was a medium-intensity song for them. They do everything from soulful power ballads to white-hot insane thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. One key to their sound is that the two shredders are so different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets really rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!

Welcome to the world of Lovebites, your journey has just begun and it only gets so much better, these beautiful Japanese ladies were formed in 2016 by ex-members of Destrose Miho (bassist) and Haruna (drummer), the other members of Lovebites are Asami (Singer) and Miyako and Madori (guitarists), This song comes from the third album Electric Pentagram and that show or concert is Five of a Kind, it was aired on KZbin in July of last year. These ladies are very diversified in many sounds of rock and metal, as they did extensive research on the bands of the '70s and '80s, with influences from Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Megadeth and Metallica, and slayer. Influences of the guitarist of the past like Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy) and sounds of Michael Schenker (UFO, MSG) love ballads influence of the Scorpions and so on. Any song you hear from these wonderful band is a guarantee of having your mind blown away, I hope you will eventually do the one I suggested "Edge of the World" a Progmetal song a masterpiece and quickly becoming a classic, You guys are so hilarious I love your bloopers section, you have me laughing so hard with you bwhahahahahahaha, I really love the musical at the end, it almost to the sounds of the Tibet songs I love to listen to. so amazing and wonderul.
